Measured this screen can cover 95.2% of the sRGB color gamut, brightness 522nit, average color deviation value ΔE0.2, maximum color deviation value ΔE0.9, obviously after factory color calibration, used for painting and drawing and the like is no problem. In fact, the appearance and feel is very similar to last year's Phantom 13 screen, but the brightness is higher.
The C-side, that is, the magnetic keyboard, actually supports 3 levels of RGB backlighting, which should be the only magnetic keyboard on the market that supports RGB backlighting. The keyboard feels stable, the key range is not short, and it will not be warped to play the game, and the bottom is a glass trackpad, which feels tight.
The power button is not placed on the C side, but is moved to the interface of the fuselage, and a fingerprint recognition is integrated, which supports the Windows Hello fingerprint login function. In terms of interfaces, the left side is the XG graphics dock custom interface (including a full-featured Type-C interface), in addition to a Thunderbolt 4 interface, and on the right is a 10Gbps Type-A interface and headphone jack. Coupled with the TF card interface on the back, this interface is a very standard two-in-one interface configuration.

However, a special PCIe 3.0x8 interface is individually customized on the left side of the phantom X's body, which can reach a maximum transmission bandwidth of 63Gb/s when connecting an external graphics card, without losing performance at all. If the phantom 13 is at least in the form of a notebook, the phantom X can't even fully calculate the notebook, and it is the first time in history that the i9-12900H+RTX 3050Ti of this level of the game is stuffed in such a small iron plate. So can the heat dissipation of this little guy withstand these configurations? Magic X's system has built-in Altran Center software, and provides multiple performance mode options, and even allows players to manually intervene a little CPU maximum power consumption and GPU frequency, we turned to the enhanced mode, began to bake machines and run scores.
In addition, this year, ASUS's ROG and ASUS Sky Choice's new products will be equipped with "dual display and three modes" graphics card switching. Dual display, that is, the integrated graphics card that comes with the processor + the discrete graphics card with stronger performance. Three-mode, that is, three output modes: unique output, centralized output, and mixed output. As a uniquely positioned product, phantom X not only supports "dual display three modes", but also supports external XG graphics card docking station, and even supports "three display three modes", I would like to call it a versatile small Kongo. We first use the AIDA64 for a single baked FPU, after 15 minutes, the CPU temperature will fluctuate around 72°C, at this time the power consumption will also stabilize at 50W, this continuous performance release has exceeded the vast majority of thin and light game books, not to mention a large number of thin and light using the U series of low-voltage processors.
Then we use FurMark donuts for a single-baked GPU, after the cushioning of the fuselage, the GPU stabilized at 40W of power, the temperature stabilized at around 66 °C, the frequency stabilized at about 862MHz, this temperature is really not high, because the RTX 3050Ti itself is not very high, 40W is enough to release its performance.
Next, we run both of these software at the same time, simulating maximum pressure and running double roasting. After 10 minutes, the CPU is stable at about 21W and 66 °C, and the GPU is stable at about 35W and 67 °C, that is to say, the heat dissipation capacity of this mold should be about 60W, if it can accept a higher surface temperature, you can also pull the frequency up a little in the Altran Center. Don't forget, magic X can also use the exclusive XG graphics card docking station, if external, the CPU can run 50W without scruples.
In terms of running points, the author is most concerned about the CPU running score, can the strongest i9-12900H on the mobile terminal have amazing performance? In the BenchMark of CPU-Z, the i9-12900H single-core scored 806 points, multi-core 7881 points, and even surpassed the 11th generation desktop processor, it seems that the 12th generation processor has indeed improved by leaps and bounds.
In R15, which represents the theoretical performance of the CPU, we used the script to run 30 rounds of full-core running points, and for the first time we could reach a maximum of 2647 points and a minimum of 1765 points, which fluctuated as shown below.
In R20, you get a score of 712 points for single thread and 5432 points for multi-threading. This single-thread score has exceeded the vast majority of mobile CPUs at present, compared to last year's top matching fantasy 13 R9-5980HS, whether it is a single-core multi-core is about 20% higher, it is not powerful.

The RTX 3050Ti is generally between the mobile 1650Ti and 1660Ti in terms of graphics card segments, but it performs better in terms of optical tracking and DLSS due to the upgraded ampere architecture. The RTX 3050Ti has a Time Spy GPU score of around 4,000 points and FirestrikeExtreme around 5,000 points in 3DMark, allowing you to play most AAA games in 1080P medium quality.
The memory is the use of on-board 16GB 5200MHz DDR5 memory, the current release of the 12th generation Core game book is basically 4800MHz, so 5200MHz will be faster. The measured running score is as follows, the speed is very fast, but the delay is also somewhat high.

Playing light chase with a tablet?
From the above performance tests, it seems that the performance of the magic X has not become worse because of the two-in-one product form, and the actual performance release is probably equal to a thin and light game book. So how does it perform in its own job, the game? The following games we will turn on 1920*1200 resolution + sub-high quality to test.
First of all, we selected six mainstream esports games from League of Legends, CS:GO, Rainbow Six: Siege, PUBG, Forever Dead, and APEX Legend to test. In League of Legends, the frame rate fluctuates rapidly between 150-300 frames, with an average frame rate of around 220 frames, it is not clear why, it is recommended to open the lock 120 frames to play.
Running BenchMark in CS:GO can achieve an average of 189.99 frames, and the full 120Hz screen is completely out of the question.
Rainbow Six: Siege has its own Benchmark, which has been tested to still run to 176 frames at the highest quality, and the game experience is excellent.
APEX Legend is a game with much higher configuration requirements, but the Phantom X supports NVIDIA Reflex, which has a lower shooting delay after opening and a good feel. Measured high image quality can be maintained at about 84 frames.
In PUBG, we turned on high-quality, RTX 3050Ti frames can be maintained at around 100 frames when playing, "eat chicken" experience is good.
"Forever Doom" is also not a problem, after we open the high quality + balance file DLSS, the number of battle frames can be stabilized at about 75 frames, it can be said that the performance of the phantom X takes all mainstream online games high quality is not a problem.

The first is the BenchMark of "Tomb Raider: Shadow", which can reach an average of 62 frames in high quality, and the video memory is still relatively tight at this time, so the RTX 3050Ti with 4G video memory is still more suitable for playing 3A masterpieces in medium and high quality.
In Halo: Infinity, the situation is better, and the battle can reach an average of about 76 frames in high quality, and the game experience is good.
In "Red Dead Redemption 2", the pressure is quite large, and the average 45 frames can only be reached in medium quality, and if you really want to play, you still have to open to low quality.
Since the RTX 30 Series GPUs improve ray tracing performance, can we challenge the light chasing masterpiece? Cyberpunk 2077 recently released a new version that provides BenchMark, and future performance testing will be more accurate. The situation is similar, and the RTX 3050Ti is still tough to play the game. At the highest quality of 1920*1080 resolution, the number of frames is only around 30 frames, and the minimum quality is less than 50 frames.

As we all know, before the purchase of two-in-one notebooks, generally are business groups, and the magic X as a two-in-one, can it meet the needs of such people? We tested several office productivity software. The first is the PCMark 10 Modern Office Test, which represents comprehensive office performance, with the Magic X scoring 6901 points, which means that the vast majority of office and digital creation needs are not in the balance.
In the video editing software PugetBenchMark For Pr and the special effects production software PugetBenchMark For Ae, the magic X scored 579 and 1047 points, respectively, which means that simple creative work is also not a problem. But unfortunately, the memory is only 16G, and it cannot be expanded, so it is easy to run large-scale projects. If there is such a need, the thin and light performance of the phantom 14 and the phantom 16 may be more suitable.
