Adam Dreifer will star in Enzo Ferrari in Michel Mann's Ferrari.
The screenplay is based on the autobiography Enzo Ferrari: The Furious Machine, focusing on Ferrari's eventful autumn of the 1950s, beginning with the crisis of the summer of 1957. Enzo Ferrari, played by Dreifer at the time, was in crisis. Laura (Cruz) is saddened by the death of her son Dino in 1956, which leads to an affair between Ferrari and Lina Cady (Woodley).
The film will also tell how Ferrari rebuilt Ferrari through racing.

The Mille Miglia car was forced to stop racing after a heartbreaking accident in 1957, when a Ferrari 290MM car spun out of control, including driver Marquis Alfonso de Portago, assistant Edmond Nelson and twelve onlookers.
