Since February 15, Capcom has been updating its Resident Evil Portal website every other week with a historical introduction that includes a story overview, character concept maps, in-game screenshots, associated titles, and more.
After updating Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3 Final Escape in the first week, this week's timeline comes to Resident Evil Codename: Veronica, Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil Outbreak, and Resident Evil Outbreak 2.
Careful Resident Evil fans have found that the concept images and in-game models uploaded by Capcom for Resident Evil Outbreak 2 (left below) are high-definition materials, which are different from the original stickers (right below) that players are familiar with before. Therefore, some players speculate that the Resident Evil outbreak series may usher in a remake.
In addition, Capcom said that on March 23, the 26th anniversary of the Resident Evil series, it will bring special news to fans. The next introduction to the Resident Evil Portal will be released on March 1, and Resident Evil 4 will also appear in the update.
