Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan will star in "She Says"
1905 Cary Mulligan and Zoe Kazan were discussing a new film by Universal Pictures, She Said, which focused on a New York Times reporter's investigation into Weinstein's sexual harassment scandal, sparking a massive MeToo movement around the world.
Based on the best-selling book She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement, Kerry Mulligan and Zoe Kazan will play two New York Times reporters, Megan Tevahai and Jody Cantor, respectively, about their insistence on in-depth investigation. Eventually, an article was published exposing Weinstein's alleged sexual assault and harassment, and Hollywood insiders followed suit, giving rise to the MeToo movement, and eventually the film tycoon was tried and imprisoned for 23 years.
"She Says" was directed by "Deviant" and "I Am Your Humanity" by Maria M. Schrader directed and Rebecca Lenkowitz, screenwriter of "Sister Ida," is in charge of the script, and filming is scheduled to begin this summer. The story mode of this investigative journalism film is similar to "Presidential Team" and "Focus", and this film is composed of female filmmakers, and "She Said" will also become another popular feminist blockbuster in Hollywood.
