In order to make every effort to prepare for the organization of professional league competitions in the 2022 season, strive to enhance the attention and influence of professional leagues after the epidemic, and further promote the survival and development environment of professional leagues and clubs, the Chinese Football Association plans to start restoring the regular home and away format of the 2022 season of the Chinese Super League, the Chinese First League and the Chinese Second League in April on the basis of the normalization of epidemic prevention and control.
Since the covid-19 pandemic struck the world in 2020, it has had a great impact on all walks of life, and football events in various countries have once entered a state of suspension. With the improvement of the epidemic, football matches have gradually resumed, fans have returned to the stadium, and most football matches have returned to the pre-epidemic state. Due to the relatively strict control of the epidemic in the mainland, professional leagues at all levels have adopted a centralized competition system for two consecutive seasons to ensure that all personnel are not at risk of infection during the event.
If the home and away games can be restored this time, the prevention and control of the epidemic will be the top priority, and the Football Association has attached a detailed epidemic prevention work requirements for the home competition area to the business letter. In short, the competition areas of the past two seasons are divided into small divisions of the territory where each team is located, and each home division needs to work hard to coordinate with the relevant departments to provide dedicated access channels at railway stations and airports. Determine the official location of the event in advance, adopt the management mode of independent passage, closed floor, material independence, and independent dining, eliminate personnel crossover, and the activity area of all participants during the competition is limited to the station and the competition venue, and at the same time, nucleic acid testing and daily protection should be done.
At the same time, the Football Association also requires teams to report to the main stadium and the backup stadium. It is worth noting that the main stadium requirement is within the jurisdiction of the registered member association, while the standby stadium has no relevant requirements. Combined with the current epidemic situation, the selection of the alternate stadium should consider whether the location of the standby stadium will be affected once an emergency occurs in the territory. If the two stadiums declared cannot be played, the bubble management method will be adopted to transfer personnel to the opponent's home stadium for home-guest transfer or directly use a third-party home stadium to play.
For Dalian, in the past two seasons, it has successfully hosted professional events such as the Chinese Super League, the Chinese First Division, and the FA Cup, during which it has accumulated a lot of experience in running the games, and if we can restore the normal home-and-away format, these experiences will help us face various situations more calmly. Regarding the choice of alternate courses, the provincial cities of Panjin and Shenyang have stadiums that meet the standards, and Shandong Province, Hebei Province and even Beijing and Tianjin, which are close to Dalian, have venues that can hold professional leagues. In addition, the letter also suggested that the home divisions should be open to fans normally, which also means that after two years, fans will have the opportunity to return to the stadium again to cheer for their home team.
