On February 12, the Xinzhuang Police Station of the Huaping County Public Security Bureau received a search from the Renhe Police Station of the Yongsheng County Public Security Bureau for investigation. The person being searched, Li Mou, appeared at about 12 o'clock on February 11 at the Xinzhuang Township Bridge in Huaping County. After receiving the police information, the Xinzhuang police station immediately organized the police force to search in the Xinzhuang jurisdiction, and the community police sent Li Mou's clothing characteristics and photos to the WeChat group of each village group.

At 18:28, the police sent the elderly to Rongjiang district to be handed over to the family to pick up, and their families thanked the police in succession.
