On the occasion of the rebuilding of the ancestral hall in Jiangshu Village, Qianqing Street, the old village chief Shi Bingfang's thinking resonated with everyone.
Shi Bingfang found Mr. Zhu Rongchu, a warm-hearted veteran in the village, and asked him to compile the score. Zhu Rongchu, who is already 77 years old, did not resign and gladly agreed.
Trace the roots to write a family tree

On the basis of the villagers' narration, he also went through a large number of Shi family trees and historical materials to connect and support the information. "When I encounter information that is difficult to match, I think about it all day." Zhu Rongchu said.
Nowadays, Mr. Zhu Rongchu has gone to the village and entered the household, and the days of searching for information have passed for more than half a year. He wanted to do things as well as he could, and even on weekends, he didn't stop, and when he encountered difficulties in writing, he took the questions to the book to search for "answers".
This spring festival, he has completed 750 pages of family trees, but the information of the earlier years needs to be summarized and sorted out again. To this end, he ran through the Keqiao District Library and the Shaoxing City Library rain or shine, and also went to the Zhejiang Provincial Library several times to find materials.
"Useful information can often be found in ancient books and comprehensive museums. Some librarians already know me and often help find books together. Zhu Rongchu also received help from the university and was given the opportunity to borrow a set of Shi family trees treasured in the library of Jilin University.
In the future, I also want to write the story of the village
"He is familiar with the situation in the village and is good at reading and reading." Shi Bingfang felt that Zhu Rongchu was a suitable cultivator. Zhu Rongchu, who retired from the Air Force in 1971, returned to Jiangshu Village and worked as a farmer for several years, and then stayed in his hometown as an accountant.
For decades, he insisted on reading and studying, whether in the field or on the factory floor, he saw that the villagers in need of help would take the handle. "Although my family thinks I'm old, I don't have to be so tired. But the thought that the virtues of the ancestors can be passed on through records, and more future generations can learn excellent family style and family training, it is full of enthusiasm. Zhu Rongchu said.
"We have many craftsmen in Jiangshu Village, and the older generation also has a set of experience in agricultural production, and now the young people dare to break through and fight and start a business to get rich." Zhu Rongchu told reporters that in the process of compiling the family tree, he learned a lot of skilled craftsmen in the village, such as those who can make old wine by hand, those who are good at fishing, and those who can hoop barrels... Since the reform and opening up, many hard-working entrepreneurs have emerged in the villages. Today, the decades-old dirt roads in the wealthy village of Jiangshu have become spacious roads, and every household has built small buildings and villas.
