Don't love the world's beautiful land
Alone on the cold mountain is called a proud son
Soar through the top of the game
Ling Han was fragrant for nine thousand miles
The indispensable and important element of the famous painter Yuan Wu in the painting process is to use simple or complex techniques to depict one vivid and flexible life scene after another. He uses a brush that is super-exuding, abstracts ordinary life, visualizes inner emotions, and artisticizes the long-standing time and space. Unique personality, unique charm!

Yuan Wu was born in September 1959 in Jilin City, Jilin Province, graduated from the Art Department of Northeast Normal University in 1984 and the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1995 with a master's degree. He is currently the executive vice president of the Beijing Academy of Painting, a director of the China Artists Association, and the deputy director of the Chinese Painting Art Committee, and enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council.
Yuan Wu first learned to paint in the early 1970s, that is, from 1970 to 1973, when it was difficult to find books about fine arts, and he was suffering from not being able to find books to learn and began to graffiti on paper, until he met and strengthened mr. Wu Shichun, a landscape painter, and Mr. Cheng Zichang, a connoisseur, and then systematically studied art. At the beginning, I copied some comic strips or stills, and sometimes I could borrow some art materials from my teacher, such as: mustard garden paintings, painters' prints, including: Yu Feimin, Liu Kuiling, Liu Jijie and other painters.
For a while after the resumption of the college entrance examination, Yuan Wu wanted to give up painting, and during this time he rethinked the difference between his copying and the college entrance examination. I also picked up the paintbrush again for my dream as a teenager and proceeded on an orthodox path. When I was not yet able to find a teacher in the first place, many of the students who failed the college entrance examination became my temporary teachers, although they were younger than me, but they were on the right path, and they knew how to draw real people as soon as they started, which made me very convinced.
After learning from these temporary teachers, I also began to draw real people, the earliest model was my mother, my mother she sat very steadily every time, the time is also very long, and my mother will not dislike my paintings after reading my paintings every time, the paintings are not like, but will be very patient with my practice every time.
After successfully entering the university, he began to practice more diligently, and in the process of learning, he slowly discovered that he had no interest in drawing and color, nor could he find the feeling of painting, but was extremely interested in sketching. Since then, Yuan Wu has firmly grasped the sketch, often asking his classmates to go to the neighborhood for sketching. At first, Yuan Wu had secretly inferiority because the professionalism of the normal university he studied was weaker than that of the art school, and he could not correct his attitude of painting and wanting face, until he was sent to teach in a school in a remote county town, and then began to sketch calmly in the crowd.
After a period of "wild painting", Yuan Wu's sketching technique has been greatly improved. Nearly thirty years have passed since I first copied, the university's covert sketches, to the rapid discovery of painting after graduation, and now to the publication of "Sketch Collection" and sketching.
After graduating from Northeast Normal University in 1984, he was admitted to the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts after 9 years as a graduate student, and his supervisor was Mr. Yao Duoduo. In 1997, he was rated as one of the top 100 masters in the Chinese painting world by the All-China Federation of Literature and Literature. His work "Heart Road" has also been broadcast by the CCTV Literature and Art Channel as a feature film, introducing the mental journey of his creation. Yuan Wu has also held many solo exhibitions and made academic visits in Japan. He has published "Yuan Wuxin Works Collection", "Yuan Wu Ink Character Sketch Collection", "Selected Works of Yuan Wu Chinese Paintings" and so on. In 2005, he was named "The Chinese Painter with the Greatest Appreciation Potential in Contemporary Times". Jilin Academy of Calligraphy and Painting recommends painters.
Yuan Wu's paintings have a life concern for both peasants and literati, and even the profound reproduction of the phenomenon of the spiritual life of specific contemporary groups of people expresses his "realism". His creation is to obtain the most accurate effect in the purest way, and it is this art form that constitutes the zeitgeist of art.
In his ink world, everyone is a living individual, the shape of sketching is particularly critical, sometimes painting according to what they see to associate some elements that can enrich the painting, in order to express the poetry of national culture, often choose the ancients as the focus of the depiction. His paintings, whether rendered or simple, retain his attitude of excellence, the rules are rigorous and impeccable, and the charm and style in them are all in line with the spirit of the ancients.
Yuan Wu has made great expansion and innovation in the creation of characters, and the most able to express the new creation is his line and the expression of the pen and ink. Under his continuous attempts, he summed up the experience of "overall freehand local realism", the previous freehand characters are more dignified, Zhou Zheng, Yuan Wuze has innovated in this, his characters in the spirit and posture have this wonderful echo, every expression, every kind of look, every feature will move the nerves and dynamics of the whole body. Under the interaction of this emotion and posture, the characters come alive and vivid in the picture, thus reflecting the spiritual moods such as melancholy, melancholy, tragic, ethereal, indifferent and open-minded, thus producing a strong expressiveness and appeal. A wonderful and colorful character image, a variety of colorful body language, silently express the painter's understanding and perception of nature, society, and life. This kind of perception comes from the painter's profound thinking on the philosophy of life, and contains a kind of artistic pursuit of seeking new ideas.
When he was teaching, he did not want students to paint directly with his pen and ink method, in his words: "How big can you build a house in the house?" We were too close, and we learned too much like I was married." Yuan Wu's point of view is to have its own painting source, do not imitate the expression of which painter, to have their own mastery of the original technology, even if the imitation of the painter is skilled, it is not their own thing, to the later stage will still affect their own ideas.
Yuan Wu is doing his best to cultivate students is to let students be like birch trees, feed back to the homeland, return to the society, even if the branches and leaves are flourishing, the roots and whiskers must firmly hold a soil, carefully conserve pure water with their own lives, and guard the mountains of art.
Yuan Wu's works are not only his understanding of tradition and self, but also the understanding of the traditional self of this era. Behind each character work there is a very distinct visual impact, and in these shocks is also filled with a kind of authenticity and enthusiasm of the times. His works adhere to the principle of "pen and ink are contemporary", with the most simple human true feelings, and do not have those sensational ostentatious skills, but a purer humanistic connotation.
He uses sensual brushstrokes to depict the living conditions of people. The state of life, emotions, mentality and feelings fully express a kind of spiritual watch and leakage in the material world. Because he advocates the use of artistic language to express people's mentality, he attaches special importance to the change of eyes, always relying on the artistic image itself to infect people. This charismatic style of art has gained a lot of attention, and nowadays more and more collectors are beginning to have a strong interest in its works. Through those images that reach the heart, collectors feel the painter's attitude towards life, life, nature and art.
