Mounted policemen on horseback forced their way into the protest crowd, many falling to the ground under the onslaught of their horses, and the policemen had no intention of stopping, mercilessly stampede on the fallen protesters.
It is reported that among the people who fell to the ground was an old grandmother on crutches who was pronounced dead shortly after she was taken to the hospital. Apparently, the violent eviction of the Canadian police was an important reason for her unfortunate death.
