Yang Lao joined the army in 1938, fought against the Japanese army many times in Fujian, Xiamen, Jiangxi, Changsha and other places, and the victorious anti-war troops were disbanded, and was taken to his hometown in Luoyang by the battalion commander Ma Yikun, where he settled down and worked as a farmer for a lifetime.
