There are hidden dangers in the road Citizens have concerns about travel
At 10:30 a.m. on the 16th, the Zhengguan news reporter came here and saw that there was a circular design of about 8 meters long and about 3 meters wide in the middle of the road about 300 meters east of the intersection, which consisted of trail bricks.
It is worth noting that on the east side of the circular design, there is a fan-shaped flower platform made of cement bricks 16 cm above the ground, and there are no green plants planted in the flower platform, no safety warning signs are set, and there are many scratches on the upper edge of the bricks. It has been observed that the West Yangtze River Road is about 50 meters wide, running in an east-west direction, with eight lanes in both directions, and the wide road makes the raised flower platform in the middle of the road more "hidden".
Mr. Zhang, a helper, told reporters that at 7:30 p.m. on February 10, his brother wore a helmet and rode an electric bicycle home, and when he drove east to west along the West Yangtze River Road to here, due to the oncoming car lights, there was a brief blind spot of vision, hitting the raised flower platform in the middle of the road. "I consulted many departments, all said that it is not under their control, and now I hope to find the responsible unit and level this flower platform as soon as possible to avoid the recurrence of injuries." Mr. Zhang said.
Originally driving from east to west to normal, why did it suddenly change lanes? Mr. Zhang explained that more than 10 meters west of Huatai, a green tin fence occupied the northern half of the road in the west of Changjiang West Road, and the lane became narrower, so his brother passed in the middle of the road. The reporter inspected the field that the green tin fence was about 30 meters long and about 20 meters wide, sprayed with the words "high pressure danger do not approach", and there were reflective strips attached to the periphery, and two high-pressure poles were surrounded by them.
According to Mr. Du, a nearby sanitation worker, the flower platform and green tin fence here have existed since the road was opened. "This flower platform is symmetrical, originally there was another half, but many cars had accidents here, and the big stones crashed into small stones, and it was not until the flower platform on the west side was 'smoothed' until a few years ago." The east side is still good, but we are only responsible for road cleaning and have no right to demolish. Mr. Du said.

It is reported that the west extension of Changjiang Road (West Third Ring Road - West Fourth Ring Road) is responsible for the construction of Zhengzhou Real Estate Group, and the project was completed and opened in 2019, becoming an important main road running through the east and west of the urban area in the southern region.
