More than a year after his fall, Ma Ming, who appeared in court, was already full of white hair.
After trial, it was ascertained that from 2000 to 2019, Ma Ming took advantage of his position to illegally accept property sent by others, equivalent to a total of more than 157.85 million yuan.
[Once a "brother in the police circle", he did not like to wear a police uniform]
According to a previous report by the Integrity Outlook, Ma Ming's most notable political experience was that he served as a "police brother" in Jilin and Inner Mongolia provinces (regions): from 2011 to 2012, he served as vice governor of Jilin Province and director of the provincial public security department; from June 2012 to January 2018, he served as vice chairman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government and director of the public security department.
In 2006, Ma Ming became the director of the Department of Commerce of Jilin Province, and two years later became the secretary of the Liaoyuan Municipal Party Committee. In 2011, at the age of 54, Ma Ming was promoted to vice minister and became vice governor of Jilin Province and head of the provincial public security department. A year later, Ma Ming exchanged across provinces to Inner Mongolia and served as vice chairman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government and director of the Public Security Department.
According to a person familiar with the public security system in Inner Mongolia, ma Ming's experience shows that he is not familiar with public security business. But what's worse is that his mind may not be on his job.

According to a previous report by Beijing Youth Daily, according to prosecutors, Ma Ming's wealth collection began in 2000. In May of that year, Ma Ming, then deputy director of the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Jilin Province, took over as vice mayor of New Songyuan City, where Ma Ming received his first payment.
In the next 19 years, Ma Ming accumulated wealth all the way to the provincial and ministerial levels, and the amount of wealth accumulated exceeded 150 million.
Ma Ming has always been very high-profile, the most famous of which is that he openly provoked "east-west confrontation" within the public security system.

In 2017, the leader of a municipal traffic management detachment wanted to "buy an official", so he found Zhao Yunhui, then deputy director of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Public Security Department.
Zhao Yunhui wanted 10 million, but the detachment leader gave 7 million. Zhao Yunhui secretly hid 5 million yuan, and only gave Ma Ming 2 million. As a result, Ma Ming felt that the "bid" was too low, so he operated the detachment leader to the Xing'an League, which had relatively backward economic conditions.
Some media said that Ma Ming was "routined" by his own deputy Zhao Yunhui.
On February 17, the Zibo Municipal Intermediate People's Court held that defendant Ma Ming's conduct constituted the crime of accepting bribes, and that the amount of bribes accepted was particularly huge, the number of bribes was large, the time span was large, and the integrity of the acts of seriously infringing on the duties of state functionaries was seriously infringed upon, and the impact was bad; at the same time, After Ma Ming arrived at the case, he could take the initiative to confess the fact that the case-handling organs had not yet grasped the fact that he had accepted bribes of more than 150.71 million yuan, admit guilt and repentance, report others to constitute meritorious service, and the stolen money and stolen goods had been recovered in full, and there were statutory and discretionary mitigating circumstances.
