According to public information, Chongqing Chezhiyu Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. is 100% controlled by Chongqing Ideal Automobile Co., Ltd. Some analysts said that this may mean that ideal cars will build a production base in Chongqing. At present, Ideal Car has not publicly responded to this.
It is reported that the land area of the plot auctioned by Ideal Automobile is about 1.1334 million square meters, the plot ratio is ≧0.7, the land use is class II industrial land, the transfer period is 50 years, the construction scale is 793,400 square meters, and it can be equipped with no more than 7% of the administrative office and living service facilities, that is, no more than 79,000 square meters.
It is worth noting that the parcel investment intensity ≧ 50 million yuan / ha, and the output intensity ≧ 100 million yuan / ha. This means that the investment amount of Ideal Auto in this plot may reach more than 5 billion yuan, creating an output value of more than 10 billion yuan.
In addition, the relevant announcement of the Municipal Public Resources Exchange Center also shows that the project built by ideal automobile using the land plot began within 3 months of the land transfer and was completed within 3 years after the start of construction, which means that the project will be completed in 2025 at the latest.
Ideal Car has a long history with Chongqing. In December 2018, Ideal Automobile acquired Chongqing Lifan Automobile Co., Ltd. for 650 million yuan, thereby obtaining the new energy vehicle production qualification.
On December 15, 2021, Ideal Automobile signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Chongqing Municipal Government. The more than 90,000 ideal ONE vehicles delivered in 2021 are all produced at the production site, and the production capacity of the production base can no longer meet the delivery demand, and a new workshop is being built, which will reach an annual production capacity of 200,000 units after completion.
The Beijing Green Intelligent Manufacturing Base is the first factory of Beijing Hyundai, which is the ideal car to take over, and is also undergoing renovation and expansion. The total investment of the project is more than 6 billion yuan, the reconstruction and expansion area is about 270,000 square meters, and the annual production capacity is planned to be 100,000 vehicles after the transformation, which is used for the production of pure electric vehicle models, and is scheduled to be put into operation by the end of 2023.
According to the development goals previously revealed by Ideal Auto, the company will get more than 20% of the market share of China's intelligent electric vehicles by 2025, becoming China's first intelligent electric vehicle company, with annual sales of 1.6 million electric vehicles. The company's two production bases cannot support the achievement of production capacity targets, and the construction of a third plant seems imperative.
Judging from the land size of the Chongqing land plot just acquired by Ideal Automobile, its land area has exceeded the comprehensive of the above two production bases. This gives the market a more positive expectation for the brand.
Some insiders said that if the ideal third production base is settled in Chongqing, it will be able to better radiate the overseas market in the southwest region and even Southeast Asia.
