The courtyard dam is used as a "canvas"! An 11-year-old teenager in Leshan, Sichuan Province, painted a giant ice pier to cheer for the Winter Olympics

The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics mascot ice pier is loved by everyone, and many people dream of having one, but it is too popular and a "pier" is difficult to find. However, Luo Keyu, an 11-year-old child in Leshan, Sichuan Province, used his 50-square-meter courtyard dam as a canvas to paint a giant ice pier to cheer for the Winter Olympics.

Luo Keyu is a fifth-grade student at Xujiabian Primary School in Leshan City, who usually likes calligraphy and painting, and has been paying attention to the Beijing Winter Olympics during the winter vacation. Seeing the Chinese Winter Olympic athletes winning glory for the country on the field, he thought of cheering for the Beijing Winter Olympics in the form of painting, hoping that the athletes would achieve more good results.

What to draw? Where to paint? Xiaoyu likes ice piers. Since a "pier" is difficult to find, draw one yourself. The yard of the family happened to be empty, so I simply used the courtyard dam as a canvas.

Starting on February 11, Xiaoyu first collected materials on the Internet, completed the sketch idea, drew the outline on the ground with chalk, and then used paint to color the ground little by little.

After two days of more than 10 hours of work, a special painting of an ice pier jumped on the ground. In this painting, in addition to the ice piers and snow melting, there are also patterns such as the five Olympic rings and snowflakes, as well as the words "Together to the Future", "Beijing Refueling", "Athletes Refueling" and so on.

Xiaoyu said that he specially added the element of rock sugar gourd, because there was already a rock sugar gourd in Beijing, and it was added to make it more lively. At the same time, he also added a skateboard at the foot of the ice pier, "This skateboard is a winter Olympic event, and I want to make the ice pier a little playful." ”
