Cadillac has officially released the official image of the new Project GTP racing car, which was created by Cadillac Motorsports, the design department and manufacturer Dallara. From the picture, the front face of this new car is very flat, the front side of the car is inlaid with vertical light sets, and the body kit under the front is made of forged carbon fiber, which not only looks very beautiful, but also achieves the ultimate lightweight.
Coming to the rear of the vehicle, the rear shape of the Project GTP car is extremely exaggerated, and a variety of spoilers of different sizes provide enough downforce for it to firmly grasp the ground at high speeds. At the same time, the tail light group of this car is also vertically shaped, which is a design element that is consistent with the civilian version of the model and has a high degree of recognition.
Cadillac began participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans as early as 1950, when there were two vehicles, the 61 Series coupe and the DPI-V.R car, the latter of which was praised by French fans as "Le Monstre Le Mans" for its subversive modifications and aerodynamic innovations.
At the same time, Cadillac also launched a SPECIAL EDITION MODEL OF CT5 painted with Le Mans orange, which still uses a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 174kW and a peak torque of 350N·m, and the transmission system matches the 10AT transmission, which has a more visual impact after using Le Mans orange painting, further highlighting cadillac's sports genes.
