In fact, Cadillac has a long history with Le Mans. As early as the 1950s, Cadillac sent two 61 cars to europe's major road endurance races, and because of its exaggerated aerodynamic design and eye-catching shape, Le Mans fans at the time even gave this car the nickname "Le Monstre Le Mans Beast". It is reported that the GTP racing car participating in the competition was jointly created by cadillac motorsports department, design team and Italian professional racing manufacturer Dallara, which not only continued the style of the current brand's mass production car in appearance, but also equipped with a hybrid system composed of Cadillac engines and GTP standard kits.
