New Year's Eve
Kapok was red and thankful,
Last year's saffron thanks,
It was as if it were yesterday.
New Year's Eve came and went,
On New Year's Eve last year,
Spring wind,
It came and went.
The heart of the wind many years ago,
It was as if it were just yesterday.
Summer flowers,
Open and fall.
Many years ago, the snuggling between the flowers,
Winter Cher,
Drifted and melted.
Oath in the snow many years ago,
Autumn moon,
Round and missing.
Many years ago, the thoughts of the moon,
Looking back,
We are no longer,
juvenile.
But
On this New Year's Eve,
In this one, as yesterday,
Before the moon flowers,
There will still be,
Teenager-like,
lingering.
