TASS: In 2021, China's automobile export volume exceeded 2 million for the first time

Russian media said that among them, the export of new energy vehicles increased by 3 times to 310,000 vehicles. Exports of passenger cars reached 1.61 million units, and exports of commercial vehicles increased to 402,000 units. In December alone, Chinese automakers exported 223,000 vehicles, up 54 percent year-on-year.

China International Finance Corporation (CICC), a major Chinese investment bank, earlier released an annual report on its website expecting car sales in the country to grow by 6.2 percent in 2022. According to forecasts, China's car sales will reach 27.22 million units next year. Passenger car sales will increase by 8.1% to 22.76 million units, and sales of commercial vehicles such as trucks will increase by 2.2% to 4.46 million units.
