Recently, the 2022 Beijing News Center "Colorful Shenzhou" theme exhibition area ushered in the Shantou Theme Day, and the elements of the Shantou Asian Youth Association and the intangible cultural heritage were unveiled at the same time, showing Shantou's image charm and cultural characteristics to more than 1,700 non-registered journalists and domestic and foreign guests.

Shantou Theme Day is divided into four major sections: the main image exhibition area, the "Beauty of Culture" exhibition area, the "Cultural Connotation" exhibition area and the "Cultural Fun" interactive area. With the theme of "Celebrating the Winter Olympics and Welcoming Yaqing", the overall design of the exhibition area integrates Yaqing elements, toy cultural creativity, intangible cultural heritage, etc., displays the aesthetic culture of Yaqing through multimedia and interactive experience, and publicizes the image of the host city and the unique Lingnan culture and Chaoshan culture.
In the exhibition area of "Cultural Heritage", the theme spray painting works of the Third Asian Youth Congress have become a popular punch card place for audiences to take group photos, and the words "Chao, Shantou, Rhyme, Moving Asia" and "Shantou Welcome" and other words attracted media attention. Huang Donghua, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Shantou Municipal Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department of the Shantou Municipal Executive Committee of the Asian Youth Congress, said that the third Asian Youth Congress will be held in Shantou, Guangdong Province, from December 20 to 28 this year, and through this theme activity, it is hoped to strengthen exchanges and interaction with the Beijing Winter Olympics, so that more people can know the Asian Youth Congress, understand the Asian Youth Congress, walk into the Asian Youth Congress, and feel the unique charm of Shantou, a coastal city.

In the "Beauty of Culture" exhibition area, Chaozhou wood carving, inner painting, Chao embroidery, inlaid porcelain, gold lacquer painting and arcade creative building blocks are exhibited; in the "Cultural Fun" interactive area, non-hereditary inheritors of Chaoshan Gongfu tea art, seal engraving, Chaoyang paper-cutting and Chao embroidery hook flower are exhibited on the spot, attracting many audiences to "punch in".
It is understood that the 2022 Beijing News Center is a non-registered media center of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and the "Colorful Shenzhou" cultural display area serves as an important communication platform during the Winter Olympics, taking the form of "theme day" to show the cultural charm of provinces and cities.
