According to Italian journalist Romano, Chelsea regard Sevilla centre-back Conde as the number one target for signings this summer.
Chelsea pursued Comte last summer, but Sevilla asked for between 65 million and 70 million euros and the two sides ultimately failed to reach an agreement. Romano noted that Chelsea still admire Comte and see him as the number one target for signings in the summer window, although the French centre-back is not the blues' only candidate for reinforcements.
Conde's contract with Sevilla expires in 2024 and he has played 27 games so far this season, contributing 1 goal and 1 assist and playing 2,200 minutes.
