In 1955, the cloud plate was discovered by the staff of the Palace Museum in Shenyang, so it was collected into the Imperial Palace museum in Shenyang and was a national first-class cultural relic. Now it is one of the treasures of the town courtyard of the hospital.

The cloud plate is made of pig iron and has a perforated hole in the upper part for tether suspension. The head and tail are in the shape of clouds, the plate body is rectangular, and the inscription "Dajin Heavenly Destiny Decian Hai Nian Cast Niuzhuang City" is 11 characters, the left line of 5 characters is double hook yin text, and the right and lower lines of 6 characters are convex Yang script. The front and upper sides of the body are cast with a raised floral pattern, and the back is cast with a raised chrysanthemum leaf pattern.

Niuzhuang is located at the mouth of the Sancha River and is a strategic location. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, this cloud plate was placed in the Niuzhuang Inspection Gate and used as a large hall. Later, someone found the text on the cloud version, which Fang knew was a relic of the founding of the Qing Dynasty and was of precious value.

Cloud plates were used in the military and began at the end of the Ming Dynasty. Before and after entering Liaodong, Nurhaci imitated the illumination army and used cloud plates to alarm on the Ming and Qing defensive lines. #Artifacts have something to say ##趣事奇闻 #
