I want to be an actor
Guan Shan, formerly known as Guan Bowei, was born on April 20, 1933 in Heilinzi Village, Daxing Township, Yuhong District, Shenyang City. Guan Shan showed a love for movies when he was young.
Guan Shan's father, Guan Shidong, was the deputy commander of the Liaodong Division before liberation. At that time, no matter how difficult the family was, Guan Shidong would give his children pocket money every week. Xiao Guanshan, attracted by the characters on the big black and white screen, runs into the movie theater with this money almost every week.
In times of war, good times were always short-lived. After Kwan Shi Tung retired, the Kwan Shan family moved from the mainland to Hong Kong. Shortly after Guan Shidong's death, Guan Shan was forced to take on the responsibility of supporting his family. After dropping out of school, he worked as a miner, dock worker and lifeguard in a bathing beach. Later, he entered an iron factory as a lathe worker to support his brother's schooling.
In 1954, Guan Shan watched the famous director Tao Qin, directing "Human Ghost Love", and he was deeply fascinated by it. After that, he had the idea of entering the film industry. That year, he applied for a free company, but unfortunately, at that time, for some reason, he was not selected.
Later, Guan Shan, who was not afraid of tigers, went directly to the Great Wall Film Company and said in front of an elder, Yuan Yang'an, "I want to be an actor." In addition to being "directly" shocked by the young man, Yuan Yang'an was also amazed by his appearance and temperament, so he suggested that Guan Shan take the exam of the actor training class.
Two years later, Guan Shan finally entered the famous actor training class of the Great Wall Film Company. After a year of training, Guan Shan officially made his debut. Yuan Yang'an looks at him with great looks, is familiar with rural life, and thinks that he is the best candidate to play Ah Q. As a result, Guan Shan made his first film, which was also the first "A Q Zheng Biography" in the history of cinema. Guan Shan's wonderful performance won him the Silver Sail Award for Best Actor at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland, becoming China's first international film emperor. That year, the red star rose, and he was only 25 years old.

The most popular literary student in 1960
It was the golden age of Hong Kong cinema, and Guan Shan, who was thriving on and off the screen, naturally became popular overnight with his beautiful appearance and outstanding acting skills.
In 1961, Guan Shan joined the star-studded Shaw Film Company. In the same year, he co-starred in the literary and artistic blockbuster "No Love" with the actress Lin Dai, and cooperated with the director Tao Qin as he wished, and it was Director Tao Qin who inspired him to enter the industry. The unprecedented success of "No Love" helped Guan Shan to the front line of the Chinese film industry.
Since then, he has worked hand in hand with Li Hanxiang, He Menghua, Tao Qin, Luo Zhen, Qin Jian and other famous Shaw directors. For everyone, he has left many excellent films such as "Yang Naiwu and the Little Cabbage", "Liang Shanbo and Juliet", "Red Tears", "A Dime", and cooperated with the famous actresses of Shaw, such as Ling Bo and Letty.
In 1963, Guan Shan and Lin Dai collaborated again in "Blue and Black". Unfortunately, before the end of the film, Lin Dai committed suicide. When the film was officially released in 1966, it caused a huge sensation. Named Guan Jiahui, she is known as "Hong Kong's first beauty" Guan Zhilin, although Zhang Bingxi is very considerate and reasonable to Guan Shan, but the romantic relationship between Guan Shan and Zhang Bingqian soon becomes tense, and Zhang Bingxi tries to keep him by giving birth to another son. However, the arrival of his son did not bring new hope to the broken family. Instead, Guan Shan ignored his wife's feelings and enjoyed the life of a nightly party.
In 1975, Zhang Bingqian finally decided to divorce and immigrated to the United States with her son, while Guan Zhilin stayed in Hong Kong. Guan Zhilin's evaluation of Guan Shan is "wind and current, regardless of the family, unable to fulfill the responsibilities of the father." After his wife left, he not only did not "reform his heart", but also "let it go" and entered various social activities without scruples. Because she was handsome and rich, she was naturally favored by many women.
Probably influenced by his father. As an adult, Guan Zhilin gradually changed from a good girl to a willful and rebellious. In 1982, at the age of 20, Guan Zhilin married Wang Guojing, a wealthy businessman 17 years older than himself, who was in Hong Kong at the time, engaged in finance and trading business, and he was known for his business style.
Guan Zhilin, who lacks life experience, is deceived by Wang Guojing's sweet words, thinking that after his parents divorce, he can finally have a complete family. After a few months of acquaintance, he resolutely went to the United States to register his marriage with Wang Jingxi. The "old and young match" between Guan Zhilin and Wang Guojing caused a heavy mental blow to Guan Shan, and he even committed suicide in order to prevent his daughter from getting married. However, in the end, in the face of Guan Zhilin's stubbornness, he is still not an opponent, so the father and daughter broke up for 30 years. In the end, Guan Zhilin's marriage ended after half a year.

Later life
After the divorce, Guan Zhilin resented her father even more. She even excluded Guan Shan from her own life, living with her mother and brother. At that time, Guan Shan was already with Jenny, a girlfriend who was 13 years younger than his daughter. Shopping, being photographed by the media holding hands while drinking tea, Guan Shan did not shy away.
Until the age of 67, Guan Shan was still surrounded by female companions. Even with his young girlfriend Jenny as his companion, he took his two female companions to the casino to buy horses during the New Year. However, father and daughter have no natural enemies. In 2010, Guan Shan, who has been healthy all along, suddenly suffered a stroke, and Jenny, who had been with him for 10 years, also left him. At this time, Guan Zhilin finally had to return to Guan Shan to take care of his father. In the days of getting along with his father, Guan Zhilin saw Guan Shan more and more like the father of a child, and finally understood that his father loved himself, and the father-daughter bond was lifted.
On October 1, 2012, Guan Shan died of lung cancer. Before dying, Guan Zhilin and his brother did their last duty and were with him. To make up for her father, Guan Zhilin spent HK$4 million (about S$800,000) to buy a tomb of 6 people at the Dapeng Bay Overseas Chinese Cemetery in Shenzhen, which was called "Dapeng Spread Wings Cave", which made the deceased feel glorious. However, Zhang Bingqian, Guan Shan's ex-wife, did not appear from the time of the setting of the spirit to the burial. Maybe she still hasn't let go of her hatred for Guan Shan for years.
