The Lakers welcome veteran point guards! Walker and Thibodeau broke up completely, and the Knicks most likely chose to buy out

The New York Knicks are hoping to make a major deal before the Feb. 10 trade deadline, and according to the latest rumors, Kemba Walker is the most likely candidate to be traded.

As New York Post reporter Mark Berman reported, the Knicks have prepared their "entire roster" to change this bad season.

Now, the Knicks have largely lost their chance to make the playoffs, and the team plans to regroup. Walker's position in New York has been a major topic of concern, as he was earlier discarded by head coach Tom Thibodeau. But thanks to Knicks injuries and health and safety deals, he was forced back on the court.

Now, according to sources, Thibodeau is not excited about the Knicks signing Walker in the first place. The Washington Post has previously reported that Thibodeau was not fully involved in the Redish deal either. Thibodeau would not be involved in any of the Knicks' decisions until Denver admitted he was in the deal.

Whether the Knicks will actually find Kemba Walker's next home remains to be seen, but that could be tricky. If Walker can't be traded, the Knicks will cut the veteran.

There is no doubt that Walker is very popular in the free agent market, and teams such as the Lakers and Nets need an experienced point guard.
