It was also an option for Americans in the early Days of the Cold War to explore the "tank of the future," and it was not uncommon for the A+B+C subsystem to be tested back and forth. However, the biggest problem with the "M48A2/T54E2/T123E6" combination is the main gun, this T123E6 is a lightweight version of the 120 mm M58 tank gun, but for the "M48A2/T54E2/T123E6" with only 1 loader, it is really difficult to load 120 mm shells in the turret alone (unless the reloaders are captain America, or The Andong Star Black Uncle loader), so the project was naturally killed.

In reality, there are many difficulties, and in the game, it is also turbulent. As early as the 0.8.0 version on October 21, 2012, the "M48A2" appeared in the client file package, and its name was still T54E2 - it was a Class 9 car! It is actually closer to the future M54 "renegade", and in 2015, WG brain door beat its gun to 120 guns, and then came to the national uniform, which became the so-called "M48A2". In the direct service of this car is still "hidden in the deep boudoir no one knows" of the unpublished state, and in the national service, everyone has been playing for six or seven years.... During the old national service period, it was called the "Fool Series" together with the few special vehicles that were not strengthened because of its poor performance.

In 2019, when WG first released the M54 "renegade" overtest information, it was originally released under the name of "T54E2" (renamed to facilitate sales, bison, storm, etc. are the same), at that time, there were many people who naively thought that after the national service update, WG would replace the "M48A2" on the hand with "renegade", in fact, they are not a car, and the data packages in the client are not the same. Take the game as an example, the "renegade" uses the unmodified early M48 body, which is a "small ass", while the "M48A2" uses a late-stage "big ass" body with a new engine and an increased power cabin, and the gun is different. The most fundamental packets are different, just like KRT-1 and 703 Project II, Chieftain Ten Thousand and Bald Chief, let alone replacement.

Since it is strictly an "unrecognized phantom tank", the "M48A2" as an overtest vehicle has not been changed (if it is changed, it means that it is going to go out of the mountain, the same as the 268V). Its main gun is actually the standard data of the M series advanced car 120 gun, the gun penetration depth, ammunition ratio data and so on are similar, but there are differences in some details, and it is relatively inferior, of course, mainly as a comparison of the T95E6 to make the WG firepower strengthen a little too fierce.
At a distance of 450 meters, it is still possible to take a closer look
The gun control of the "M48A2" is actually slightly worse than that of the T95E6, and overall I feel that there is no particularly big problem, even at a distance of 450 meters, there is a very good performance in a slight sight, and the 340-deep HEAT can also be nibbled when it meets a hard car. The main difference is that the DPM of the "M48A2" is a bit low (relatively speaking), compared to the T95E6, which can be almost 1 shot damage in one minute, and at some specific moments, the spelling DPM is not as good as the T95E6.
Defense is even worse than a renegade
The "M48A2" defense is really not very good, it looks like it may be OK, and it is all vulnerabilities. The towering commander's command tower on the turret is really big and brittle, and even the ordinary bullets that are specially provided for high he can use HE to puncture its command tower. In contrast, the T95E6 and M60 head bags are "hard as iron", and the T110E5 is even more relieved to laugh. Not only the head bag, but also the "M48A2" lost the traditional iron head of the M series - the thickest place on the front of the turret is 203, which can be pierced by the silver coin bullet of the 10th class car, and the body is even more ugly. To put it bluntly, the "M48A2" also looks like it can be carried twice, in fact, the enemy will be surprised to find that it is just a silver pewter gun head as long as it takes a slight aim.
As for maneuvering.... Very M-series taste
The M48A2's maneuverability performance is worse than that of the enhanced M60 and T95E6, but it is still stronger than the M48A5 "Big Barton", but it is not much stronger. All I can say is that its mobility is the normal M-series Tan like that, enough but not top-notch. In addition, the "M48A2" is not only not superior in vision and concealment, but also suffers losses - the basic field of view is 400 meters, and the basic concealment is not even 8%, just like a big lighthouse that the light bulb forgot to wipe.
This car simply can't throw a cannon
I even forgot how my own "M48A2" came about, it may have been bought before or it may have been "steady earning" drawn (tm in "steady earning", this thing is still a gold card), friends recall that when it first came out in 2015-2016, it seemed to be selling 888, and then selling 688, and in 2018 it seemed to be 468. I didn't pay much attention to it after getting it, because the M48A5 Big Barton was in the limelight at the time, not much better than it. In the current version, my personal evaluation of the "M48A2" is that it is a hapless egg that has been forgotten by WG in the dust of time. If it were not for the tank sales policy of the old national service, it would not even meet with us, and because it has not been strengthened as an overtest vehicle, the "fool package" cars such as 121B, T95E6 and M60 in the same period have all been strengthened, which has become an embarrassing situation of "a thousand sails on the side of the sinking boat, and a thousand wood springs in front of the sick tree".

Everyone has mustered up enough energy to strive for the construction of 10-level housing special vehicles in the upstream province, and the "M48A2" is still sitting on the cold bench as "the old difficulty, the late students", only wait for the WG to wave a big hand, open the old car to get rid of the tough battle, "M48A2" and other cars can turn over. This car may be used as a special reward in the future, or a "hammer and nail" mystery auction lot, which will be turned over by WG before the event (like 268V repeatedly jumping around), and then take it out to harvest a wave of players who are not familiar with it.
