Cao Dahua, who has dedicated his life to the film is a "collective memory" of the past generations of Hong Kong citizens.

Cao Tat Wah (15 September 1915 – 13 January 2007) was a famous Cantonese film actor in Hong Kong, known as the "Iron Man of the Silver Temple".

At the age of 15, he went to Shanghai alone to shoot the silent film "The Great Hero of Kanto". In 1933, he participated in films such as "Orphan Line", "Little Tiger", "Tears of Demobilization", "Shandong Xiangma" and so on. He played the male lead for the first time in the movie "The Spirited Woman". After the fall of Hong Kong in 1941, Cao Dahua once made a living by selling old clothes. After the recovery of the film industry, he and his sister Cao Qiwen jointly formed the "Youqiao Film Company" and founded the "Wenhua Film Company" and "Youqiao Studio".

In 2001, he was awarded the Golden Bauhinia Lifetime Achievement Award by the Hong Kong Film Critics Association. In 2003, he was awarded the Professionalism Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards. He died in 2007 in the United Kingdom at the age of 91.
