Original Zen poem: The scalper eats grass with his head bowed

The scalper bows his head and eats his own grass,

Shepherd boy cow back play piccolo.

Man and cow do their own thing,

Let the river ripple.

Some people think of Zen as very mysterious, as if it is unfathomable and mysterious when it is mentioned.

In fact, in daily life, Zen is strong, if everything can go with nature, all are so harmonious. No pretense. That is the natural outpouring of Buddha-nature.

Isn't it? Nor does the cow need me to hold his nose and pull on the rope, and tell him that the grass here can be eaten and the grass there cannot be eaten. It's all about luck, and I don't need anyone to point out, and I don't have any reluctance, isn't it Zen?

The phrase "let the ripples of the river rise" is a metaphor for not being moved by the outer edge. The ripples of the river will let it go, the cow will not look up, and the shepherd boy who plays the flute will not stop playing for this scene...
