In 1953, at the age of 7, Feng Zheng entered Dagou Sanya Primary School. In the first five years of elementary school, on Sundays he also sneaked into the school library to read books by turning over the window. There were not many books in the primary school library, and they were all read to Feng Zheng in less than two years. After that, he took the books on his father's bookshelf and read them. "Dream of the Red Chamber" and other "four masterpieces" were read in the fourth grade.

Reading made Feng Zheng extremely interested, and he finished reading all the books he could borrow. When you meet your beloved, you copy it down under the faint oil lamp. When his father saw him, he ordered the magazines "China Teenagers Daily" and "Red Scarf". From 1956 onwards, Feng Zheng began to write amateurishly. Every year, it is bound into one book, and it is signed "tinplate". Also in this year, Feng Zheng published his first "work" in his life, "To the Teacher". It was a 24-line poem.

At the age of 17, Feng Zheng, who had fallen in the middle of the family road, could only drop out of school and go to Dongping to work as a fisherman. Feng Zheng, who was short and thin, did the hardest job of the boatman- the bow worker. However, even in such a difficult environment, Feng Zheng did not forget his "writer's dream". Fishing for shrimp during the day, and resting at night, in the rickety cabin, he reads with the help of a dim kerosene lamp, insisting on writing a few lines of diary no matter how tired he is.

Fine products come and go

In 1967, Feng Zheng joined the Mao Zedong Thought propaganda team in his hometown. In those years, Feng Zheng was a choreographer, La Erhu also blew and acted in many programs.

In September 1973, Sha Pao Middle School asked Feng Zheng to become a private teacher and teach the second grade Chinese of junior high school. But more importantly, he is responsible for the school's literary and artistic publicity. During this period, feng Zheng created a fishing song performance singing "Male Gull Spreads Its Wings and Fishing Busy" based on his experience of going out to sea to fish, which won the performance award and the creation award.

People familiar with Feng Zheng know that his screen name is "Yangjiang Native Specialties". More than once, he also teased himself as a pure "localist" who loved his hometown. Despite many opportunities for promotion and even assigned him a house, Feng Zheng still found an excuse to "slip" back. As his "advertising slogan" to promote his hometown said: "Not everyone says that my hometown is good, but my hometown is really good." ”
