Live Bar February 12 News Today, Yan Jiarong, spokesperson of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, shared a small story about the "intangible heritage" of the Beijing Winter Olympics at a press conference.

On the occasion of the opening of the Winter Olympics, more than 43,000 paintings were painted by young students from all over China to express their warm welcome and blessings for the athletes, of which 7,500 works were placed as special New Year gifts for the athletes' gift packs and given to the athletes who came from afar. Jamaican skier Benjamin Alexander received one of them and wrote back to the children. At present, many athletes have expressed their gratitude to the young people who painted at press conferences or on social media, encouraging them to actively participate in winter sports.

"This is what a united and warm Olympic family should look like. I believe that these stories and beautiful moments will become a precious 'intangible legacy' left by the Beijing Winter Olympics, which is shared by the whole world, passed from China to the world, and from the world to the next generation." Yan Jiarong said.
