Qing wei | carried the accordion

At the end of the 1970s, when I was in junior high school, I had a music class every week, and the teacher was a male teacher, surnamed Cheng, in his forties, with a thin figure, gray hair, and looked energetic and capable. Teacher Cheng went to class, carried a red accordion, mainly taught us to sing, singing some revolutionary songs such as "Singing the Motherland" and "Taihang Mountain", and also singing some popular songs at that time. At that time, there was a movie "Golden Triangle", which included an episode "The Spring Water of the Frontier is Clear and Pure", which was all the rage. Teacher Cheng rose on a whim and taught us to sing this song. The chorus part of the song has a dragging cavity of the word "Oops", which is graceful and beautiful, but it is not easy to sing. As a result, after singing several lessons, a "Oops" word still couldn't be sung, and the teacher was so angry that his eyes were dry. In addition to singing, Teacher Cheng also taught us to learn a little simple score and sing about the scales. What I am most interested in is the accordion that Teacher Cheng carries. When the accordion sounded, I thought it was so good.

I grew up loving music, and I started by learning to play the bamboo flute with a few big buddies and learning some simple notation. When I was in elementary school, I listened to the teacher play the organ, which was very good. Sometimes, after school, I sneaked into the office and learned to play the organ. Facing the keys, only the central C is recognized, and the melody is played with the right hand, and the left hand is idle. Later, I felt that the white key was enough, so what did the black key on the white button do? This question lingered in my mind and lingered. I asked people around me, and I couldn't tell what the black keys were for.

When Teacher Cheng played the accordion, I noticed that the keyboard of the accordion was the same as that of the pedal organ, so I ran to Teacher Cheng after class, pointed to the keyboard and asked: "Teacher, these white keys, I know that they are doraemi, what do the black keys do?" Teacher Cheng scratched his head, and for a moment he could not answer, so he had to say: "Probably, probably, maybe for the sake of good looks." "I didn't believe it in my heart, although I didn't say it on my lips. Now I think that Teacher Cheng's level of musical knowledge is limited and he cannot explain this problem to me. However, in those years, it is really rare that rural middle schools can hold music classes.

Later, after entering the normal school and taking music lessons, I understood the full-tone and semitone intervals, the name and roll call, the mode, the rhythm and so on. My confused heart seemed to open a small window and light up. The school has an accordion school group, so I actively sign up to study. In my spare time, I insisted on practicing playing the accordion, and slowly improved a little, so I took the stage to participate in the performance. A male classmate sang "Feet on the Road to Happiness", I gave him accordion accompaniment, and won the Excellence Award at the Jinan Middle School Students Singing Competition.

After graduating from normal school, I went to teach at a rural primary school. I had an organ in elementary school, and I insisted on taking some music lessons. At that time, choral and solo programs were organized, and accompaniment was needed. The organ is inconvenient and requires carrying the accordion on your back. I didn't have it at the elementary school, so I went to the elementary school in the neighboring village to borrow it. There is an accordion at the neighboring village elementary school, but no one can play it. The custodian considered it a valuable asset, kept it very carefully, and wiped it clean. Every time you go to borrow, the custodian is like lending a treasure, very reluctant, thousands of instructions not to damage, but also to play the IOU, use up and then send it back, a little troublesome. I asked the principal to buy an accordion. The headmaster said in a serious tone, "You plan to work here for the rest of your life, so we'll buy it." "At that time, buying an accordion cost a lot of money. The principal meant that I bought the accordion, I transferred it, and the money was wasted. I shook my head, and it was over.

When I was young, I carried the accordion on my back, and I also had a beautiful scenery for a few years, as long as it was National Day, the Founding Day, and all units organized singing, they came to me to play the accordion, and I couldn't get busy. Until the mid-1990s, with a DVD player, accompanied by electronic discs, and no accordion accompaniment, I was liberated. Later, I changed my work units several times, did not have the opportunity to take music classes, and was personally lazy, so I rarely touched music, let alone played the accordion.

In recent years, I have been assigned by the leaders to teach in secondary vocational schools. The school has a preschool education major, training early childhood teachers, lack of music teachers, the leader knows that I like music, let me teach "Music Theory and Sight Singing" class. There are no music classrooms at the school, and my classes need to be attended in various classrooms. The classroom was not equipped with a piano, and sight singing teaching became a problem. I asked the leader to buy an accordion. The times have developed, buying an accordion is no longer a problem, the leader happily agreed, and the accordion was bought quickly. So I picked up the accordion again and went into the classroom to teach my classmates. My students also enjoy listening to the accordion, especially when I play the accordion and lead my classmates to sing Russian folk songs such as "Three Sets of Cars" and "Hawthorn Tree".

To add, I used to be the last principal at the junior high school where I went. When the class was merged, I especially left the accordion carried by Teacher Cheng to make a souvenir. Now, that accordion has always been treasured in my home and become a permanent memory.

Teacher Cheng has passed away, and I am over fifty years old. When I pick up the accordion to teach students, I sometimes think of the thin figure of Teacher Cheng in my mind, I think, this is the inheritance.
