Matt Olseb Reseland, 31, is the number one female athlete in the International Biathlon League for the 2021-2022 season. According to the data provided by the International Biathlon Federation, her lying and standing shooting accuracy is very high. This was amply demonstrated in this game, where she hit all 10 hits, saving her precious time. But even better was her glide, which took only 20 minutes and 44 seconds 3 seconds to complete the 7.5 km, nearly 31 seconds faster than the Swedish athlete Elvira Erbeli, who finished second, fully demonstrating her strong heart and lung ability.

At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Matt Olseb Reseland competed in six events, winning two silver medals in the women's 7.5 km sprint and 4×6 km relay. In the 2021-2022 season, she made eight podium appearances at the World Cup and won five titles, including the 10 km chase, the mixed relay and the 7.5 km sprint at Oberhof in Germany. At the Beijing Winter Olympics, she set herself the goal of a gold medal. But that goal was achieved in the previous 4×6 km relay, where she and her teammates won gold for Norway. Winning the women's 7.5 km sprint in the individual event proved her super personal ability.

In this competition, Italian athlete Dorothea Verrell finished third. The four Chinese athletes who competed won the 35th, 61st, 62nd and 76th places respectively.
