On the morning of February 11, the 5th Winter National Fitness Games of Shandong Province snow single and double board giant slalom event competition was held at the Panlong Mountain Ski Resort in Licheng District, Jinan City.
The competition was hosted by Shandong Provincial Sports Bureau, undertaken by Jinan Municipal Sports Bureau, co-organized by Jinan Licheng District Sports Development Center, Jinan Panlongshan Ski Resort, and Shandong Lisu Sports Industry Co., Ltd. as the executive unit. The competition is divided into six events: the double board big slalom of the men's and women's sub-group A, the double board big slalom of the men's and women's sub-group B, the men's group A snowboard big slalom and the men's B group veneer giant slalom.
This snow single and double board giant slalom competition has a total of nearly 100 ice and snow sports enthusiasts from seven prefectures and cities in the province, athletes are not afraid of the cold, compete with each other and compete for the championship, stage wonderful competitions on the snow field, and enjoy the fun of ice and snow sports in the competition.
The whole track is set up with a total of 7 red and blue flag gates, athletes need to pass through each flag gate in the form of S-shaped turns during the race, if one flag gate is missed, the athlete's performance will be invalidated, so the athletes have shown a high level of speed and technology, showing the highest level of skiing in Shandong.
The most interesting thing about this competition is the double-board giant slalom competition. In the men's and women's singles and doubles giant slalom schedule, the players in various ski suits, under the order of the referee, lowered their bodies and swung their arms vigorously, like an arrow off the string.
