According to the press conference in Huludao, Liaoning Province, on February 10, the gene sequencing comparison of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention showed that the first case of infection in Suizhong County, Huludao was highly homologous to the early cases of the epidemic in Suifenhe City, Mudanjiang. According to the preliminary analysis of the expert group, the epidemic may be caused by the import of returnees from other places and caused by activities such as living in the same village or visiting relatives during holidays.

On February 8, 15 days have passed since the first detection of the Suifenhe epidemic on January 25, indicating that the current round of epidemics in Huludao may have been lurking for some time.

Suifenhe has confirmed a total of 26 people in this round of the epidemic, and is mainly concentrated in 2 foreign trade enterprises, involving more than 20 loading and unloading workers, transport drivers, cleaners, electricians, etc., and the rest are family members and close contacts with the same community, which belongs to the same transmission chain. According to the epidemic press conference in Mudanjiang City on January 29, a number of positive samples were found in imported grain and goods, combined with the traceability of the source of the flow and the epidemiological history of the cases, etc., it is not excluded that the Suifenhe epidemic is infected with the virus through overseas items.

In addition, the current round of epidemic transmission chain in Huludao is relatively clear, showing the characteristics of family clustering. On February 10, Huludao City pointed out that the 19 new locally confirmed cases on the 10th were mainly distributed among 4 families and their relatives, and the trajectory of action intersected in time and space, and the risk of social transmission was basically controllable.
