On the eve of the Spring Festival in the Year of the Tiger, the number of overseas personnel entering the country increased, the risk of "foreign defense import" of the epidemic continued to increase, and the smuggling of personnel and goods outside the "three nons" (illegal entry, illegal residence, and illegal employment) abroad had great risks and hidden dangers to the current epidemic import abroad, and the severity and urgency of "foreign defense import" increased.
In accordance with the unified deployment of the autonomous region, in order to tighten the responsibility for the prevention and control of the border epidemic, the crackdown and governance of the "three nons" personnel will be grasped as the most important work of the current "foreign defense input", and the superior police force will be mobilized to reinforce the three border cities and eight counties to carry out the special action of "bright swords and jingbian" to build a solid national defense line for epidemic prevention and control. In November 2021, a team sent by the Guilin Municipal Public Security Bureau led the expedition to Pingxiang City and Jingxi City to carry out special operations.
When I shifted shifts, I realized that I hadn't drunk water for 8 hours
Pingxiang Friendship Pass is an important land passage to Vietnam and a national first-class port, 18 kilometers away from Pingxiang City. Due to the severe epidemic situation in Vietnam, nucleic acid sampling stations are set up at the Friendship Customs Port, and all personnel entering and leaving the customs are subjected to nucleic acid testing, and those who are found positive are sent to the hospital for isolation and treatment with special vehicles. At the scene, the Guilin Border Aid Task Force is responsible for public order, and compulsory measures are taken against those who refuse to send medical treatment or disrupt order.
On November 28, the Guilin team went to the city to carry out a mission. The task force is divided into a port group, a patrol group and a case investigation team. The police of the port group work at the Friendship Pass Port, which is the area with the greatest risk of contracting the new crown virus.
On December 15 alone, the number of people making reservations for customs entry reached more than 600 people, and the task of the police on duty was extremely heavy. At 10 p.m., nearly hundreds of customs officers were still stranded at Friendship Pass. In order to maintain the normal order of the customs, the police of the port group insist on continuous work, calm the emotions of the customs personnel, and assist the port staff in carrying out their work. At 8:00 a.m. the next day, most of the personnel were sent away from the Friendship Pass, and the police on duty were handed over to rest.
The team members wear thick protective clothing, face shields, masks, double gloves and double shoe covers, and every day positive infected personnel are sandwiched among the inbound personnel, and the protective clothing is likely to be infected with the virus. Every time the team members drink water, go to the toilet, eat need to take off their clothes, or masks, gloves, in order to reduce the risk, do not drink water, go to the toilet, eat during the work, after the shift to return to normal.
It takes three or four hours for nucleic acid testing at the port to identify positive infected people, waiting for the arrival of people in the area to be bustling. At 12:00 noon on January 12, the task force received an urgent order: Li Mou, an entry man, tested positive and was immediately dealt with. Team members, Guilin Forest Public Security Bureau police officer Huang Haitao and medical personnel immediately rushed to the entry personnel waiting area for disposal.
In order to avoid causing panic among the crowd, Huang Haitao searched for Li on the grounds of verifying entry information, but there were two people with the same name and surname at the scene, so they had to take the two away.
After entering the isolation area, the relevant personnel immediately carried out epidemic prevention and disinfection of the two people and Huang Haitao. After confirming the Li who should be found, he learned that there were three people in his entourage, and the crowd immediately returned to take the three people into the quarantine area. On the same day, a total of several positive infected people were confirmed.
It wasn't until 4:40 p.m., after the shift time, that Huang Haitao felt hungry, when he realized that he hadn't drunk water or gone to the toilet for eight hours.
Some comrades took the initiative to give up the rotation and chose to stick to it
On the occasion of the Spring Festival and the reunion of thousands of families, who does not want to go home to spend the festival with their families and enjoy the joy of the world? On the border line, the working and living conditions are extremely difficult, and the risk of infection with the virus exists at any time, that is, in such an environment, in order to reunite thousands of families, in order to let thousands of people spend a safe and peaceful New Year festival, many team members gave up their rotation to go home and took the initiative to ask Miao to continue to stay behind to carry out their tasks.
Pan Yunguang, a member of the task force and deputy captain of the three major teams of the patrol special police detachment, was one of them, and he took the initiative to ask Zhan zhan to participate in the border assistance operation, and after the end of Pingxiang's mission period, he gave up the rotation and asked Zhan zhan to continue to stay in the work again. At the same time, he took the initiative to lead the team to the most risky Friendship Customs Port to carry out the task.
Yang Zhilin, deputy secretary of the provisional party branch of the task force and captain of the sixth brigade of the patrol special police detachment, also took the initiative to give up the opportunity to rotate and once again asked Zhan to stay behind to carry out the Task of Jingbian. As the deputy secretary of the provisional party branch, he served as both a commander and a combatant, giving full play to his exemplary and leading role and ensuring the smooth completion of various tasks in aiding the border.
During the Spring Festival, the team members stuck to their posts and used video to communicate with their relatives in their spare time. They performed their duties with practical actions, went all out to defend the main battlefield, always achieved high morale, displayed the good image of Guilin public security, vigorously carried forward the spirit of Guilin public security, which is particularly able to endure hardships, especially able to fight, and especially stressed dedication, and let the Guilin public security banner fly on the front line of southern Xinjiang with more outstanding achievements.
Behind each team member, there is an untold story
As early as November 4 last year, the second batch of the Municipal Public Security Bureau's Task Force for Aiding border Jingxi carried out tasks on the border line, the main tasks were to patrol the border, interrogate suspicious personnel, crack down on "three Nons" personnel, and check whether the border wall was damaged by smuggled personnel.
At 11:00 a.m. on January 11 this year, in accordance with the instructions of the higher authorities, the Guilin Border Aid Task Force and the police of the Border Police Station of Longbang Town, Jingxi City, joined hands to successfully seize three men who wanted to smuggle out of the country at a fast food restaurant on Longbang Street in the town. Subsequently, the police seized the vehicles and drivers transporting the stowaways at an duty station near Longbang Town. After interrogation, the four suspects confessed to the fact that the smuggling and transport of the smuggled personnel were committed.

After receiving the task of aiding the border, the team member Yan Lianjun (Lipu City Public Security Bureau police), sent the child back to his hometown to be taken care of by his grandparents, and he himself went to the front line of the anti-epidemic in the western border of Jingxi. During a night ambush of the stowaways, Yan Lianjun unfortunately fell and was injured, but still insisted on working at the border line with his wounds, never mentioning rest or withdrawal.
