Reading Kou Zhi today, I found that the first two liangshan good men who died in battle were DingLiu, the living Shan po king, and Yu Baosi, the god of the dangerous road. These two can be said to be small roles in the Water Margin, the skills are not high, Wang Dingliu is generally responsible for inquiring into the news, and Yu Baosi is in charge of the flag.
Why did these two people die first in the Dangkozhi? Personally, I think there are two reasons.
First, the ability is not strong, which everyone knows, and it is not verbose.
Second, morality is not matched. The two were sent out with Hu Yanzhuo, and then they and Shan Tinggui Wei Dingguo town guarded the Nanwang camp, and were killed by Yang Tengjiao on the way to lead troops to reinforce Hu Yanzhuo. The reason why it is said that virtue is not worthy of the position is that the two people are not highly skilled, and they cannot treat the local people well, and they have not yet self-knowledge to lead the unwilling people and horses to attack alone, and it is inevitable that they will be assassinated.
