author:Bright Net

The Spring Festival holiday is over

Come and get this post-holiday anti-fraud guide

Don't get caught up in red envelope money

Ticket change fraud

After the victim booked the ticket, he received a text message from the fraudster "Flight cancellation due to aircraft failure or weather reasons, contact customer service telephone" text message. When the victim contacts the fraudster's fake "customer service" phone, the "customer service" will guide the victim to operate on Alipay or WeChat wallet, enter his bank card and verification code on the "transfer platform", and transfer the money to the scammer's account without knowing it.

Recruitment scams

1. Posting "Job Advertisements". Fraudsters post job postings on busy streets to attract candidates.

2. SMS recruitment scams. Fraudsters send spam short messages through fake base stations to induce victims to contact by phone, and then defraud money in the name of collecting application fees, physical examination fees, etc.

3. Online recruitment fraud. Fraudsters lure migrant workers to apply for employment by publishing false recruitment information on recruitment websites, forums, etc., and defraud money by telephone contact, remittance, etc.

Fourth, "find a relationship" recruitment fraud. Fraudsters falsely claim that they have a wide range of relationships, can open up relationships for job seekers to find jobs, and then defraud money in the name of spending money to "dot".

5. Illegal intermediary recruitment fraud. Fraudsters use the shell of the recruitment company to deceive the job seeker's trust, sign an agreement with the job seeker, collect various nominal fees, and then abscond with the money.

Off-site consumer fraud

"Here is a certain bank, you spend 5,000 yuan in a certain place on February 2, if you have any questions, please contact us immediately." This kind of off-site consumption scam SMS is more common after the holiday, because some people will travel and swipe their cards during the Spring Festival, so many citizens will be fooled, and after making a call, the other party will ask for money to be sent into the designated bank account.

The courier was not taken fraudulently

Because many couriers are resting during the Spring Festival, fraudsters have set their sights on this opportunity, impersonating courier companies and calling to inform the owner that there is an untapped courier. Fraudsters will ask for personal information such as the owner's name, telephone number, and ID card number in order to further defraud. Fraudsters even claim that there are drugs and other contraband in the courier, and go to the "Public Prosecutor's Law" system to ask the victim to pay a "safe account".

Fake red envelope scams

Before and after the festival, each platform will launch a red packet grab war, however, not every red packet can be grabbed. Some "red packets" click to see that the amount is not small, but they are required to be forwarded before they can be collected, and after forwarding, they jump out of a lottery page, and any poke can be worth thousands of yuan in prizes, which is often a trap set by fraudsters, the purpose is to arbitrage the user's personal information.

Online game scams

Fraudsters promote advertisements for recharging game coins, game point card offers, or preferential purchases on social platforms, inducing victims to pay first, making false screenshots of various game interfaces and recharge interfaces, sending screenshots to victims to gain trust, and committing fraud against them.

Fake investment scams

Fraudsters create the image of "investment experts", "stock masters", "Bai Fumei" and other images on social platforms, and lure victims to participate in investment on designated platforms, these trading systems are forged, and scammers can manipulate the market in real time in the background and forge transaction records. The early scammer background manipulation system allows the victim to obtain high returns, pay the sweetness first, and then induce the victim to continue to invest large amounts, defraud huge amounts of property and disappear.
