According to the US "World Journal" report, on the morning of the 8th, a car on Staten Island in New York, the United States, crashed into the Green Garden restaurant in the West Brighton District from the main entrance, which is located in the commercial area of Forest Avenue. Firefighters arrived at the scene at around 8:10 a.m., but fortunately there were no casualties.

At the time of the accident, a pedestrian was passing by the door of the Chinese restaurant, she was still holding a cup of coffee, she said that when she watched the car accelerate into the main entrance of the restaurant, she was shocked, "The car drove forward at full speed, directly into the gate, it happened in front of my eyes"; "I was scared and trembling, but fortunately I was fine."

The owner of the Chinese restaurant was also stunned, looking at the broken glass on the ground and the building materials hanging from the ceiling on the wall, he couldn't believe that all this was true.

According to eyewitness accounts, the driver of the car was an elderly woman in her 80s. Police suspect that the female driver slammed the accelerator while on the brakes, causing the accident.
