How to repent, the fastest effect?

The Jizo Sutra says, "The behavior of all sentient beings in the Southern Yan Dynasty is not karma, and all are not sins." "Some people may say that we do not always commit murder and adultery. It is important to know that even when we are not acting in a murderous and adulterous manner, our thoughts are still tainted by greed and anger. Even if it is a good deed, it is often not a pure good deed. So, how should we deal with these sin karmas?

First of all, we should visualize the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the universe who have so many dust and brakes, and we are repenting to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have exhausted the void and the Dharma realm. In the process of visualization, integrating oneself into the merits of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas with the three kammas of a devout, pure body and mouth is the best way to eliminate sin karma.

If our hearts are filled with the merits of a Buddha and a Bodhisattva, and we do not turn with greed and anger, the three kammas can remain pure, and our personality will be purified with it. Therefore, the purification of the three kammas is itself the best repentance. More importantly, we must also swear not to do sinful karma again in the future. Otherwise, this confession must not come from the heart, and it will lack the corresponding strength.

Although we have created many sins in immeasurable devastation, we should not make it a burden on our hearts, let alone be crushed by them. The Buddha asked us to realize our sin karma, not to indulge in self-hatred, but to warn us of the inducements of bad habits and to guide us to deal with them with a positive and correct attitude.

In fact, sin karma has no fixed essence. It is also born of causes and conditions, is selfless, and can be treated by corresponding means. Karma is born from the heart, and it is also possible to repent with the heart, the so-called "sin from the heart will confess the heart, if the heart is destroyed, the sin will also die, and the heart will die and the sin will be empty, then it is called true repentance." It can be fundamentally eliminated through sincere, sharp repentance, or by acknowledging the nature of sin karma.

Repentance is not a one-time, two-time thing that can be done. Many people may have such an experience, although they regret their mistakes and want to change their past wrongs, they will soon knowingly commit them. Because the disturbing habits of sentient beings are deeply rooted, repentance must also be carried out for a long time and for a long time, and it will never be stopped in the future, so as to form a stable mental force and thus compete with the habits formed since beginninglessness.

When our minds are transformed into pure minds, compassionate minds, and wisdom minds, we can correspond to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the present moment. At that time, the troubles will no longer help us.
