On February 10, local time, a poll conducted from January to February showed that 58% of poll participants in the United States currently disapprove of the way Biden handled his work during his presidency, and only 41% expressed support.

According to CNN's analysis, the surge in COVID-19 cases caused by widespread inflation and the Omilton strain has hit Biden's rating hard in the past two months. Since the beginning of December, support for his handling of the economy has fallen by 8 percentage points to 37 percent, while support for his handling of COVID-19 has fallen by 9 percentage points to 45 percent.

The survey was a random survey of 1,527 adults conducted by CNN by mail from Jan. 10 to Feb. 6. Biden's approval rating among Democrats remains as high as 83 percent, but down from 94 percent when the survey was conducted last summer, with 36 percent of independents supporting him and only 9 percent of Republicans supporting him, according to the survey.

Overall, Americans are divided on the best way to respond to COVID-19: 51 percent said "it's time to learn to live with the virus," while 48 percent said "stopping the spread of the virus must continue to be a top priority." The divide is particularly evident between parties, with 73 percent of Democrats saying stopping the spread of the coronavirus should remain a top priority, while 72 percent of Republicans and 54 percent of independent party members say it's time to learn to live with the virus.
