"I have lived here for more than ten years, in the past, all kinds of public facilities here are old, the road surface is not only more oily, but also the phenomenon of random stalls and parking is also common. After this special street and alley creation, the environmental appearance has changed greatly. Huang Xiulan, a resident who lives nearby, said excitedly.
As a resident representative of the Jiangbei New Area Urban Governance Public Committee, Huang Xiulan witnessed the butterfly changes on Lidao Road and Lihua Road. In her words, the creation of characteristic streets and alleys this time played a "three-step song", residents and merchants participated in the whole process, put forward a lot of opinions, and truly realized the people's livelihood.
Lidao Road and Lihua Road were both built in 2008, adding up to only 1.36 kilometers, but there are nearly 200 shops along the street, and there are many large communities nearby, with a population of about 50,000. Due to the disrepair, the problems of broken roads, uneven shop signs, and dirty and chaotic environment are prominent, and they urgently need to be improved. Last year, the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Jiangbei New Area implemented the urban appearance improvement project, taking Lidao Road and Lihua Road as key projects, and Taishan Street was responsible for specific promotion.
How to create characteristic streets and alleys? Not only to have a high-value "face", but also to have a high-quality "Lizi". "It is necessary to fully solicit the opinions of surrounding residents and merchants and respond to their actual needs." The relevant person in charge of the New District Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau said.
In March last year, the first step in the implementation of the Improvement Project was to solicit opinions. On the basis of the opinions of residents and merchants in the early stage, the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of the New District organized the heads of relevant functional departments, review experts, public members of the three levels of urban streets and resident representatives to gather at the scene to visit Lidao Road and Lihua Road.
Hua Shu is the owner of a fruit shop on Lihua Road, and both he and Huang Xiulan participated in the field evaluation. "In the past, the shops here were disorganized, and I wanted to be able to manage them uniformly. At the same time, the setting of the store sign should also highlight the personality of the store. Hua Shu made an opinion on the spot.
At the scene, public members and resident representatives expressed their opinions, many of which were constructive, and were implemented one by one in the subsequent construction process. Nowadays, looking at the shop signs on both sides of the road, the specifications are unified but not "uniform", but on the basis of the consistency of the form, combined with the actual situation of the business, the color and font design has been carried out, the fresh blue fruit shop, the bright red fried chicken shop, the light Yami barber shop, etc., the lights are lit up at night, and the lights are full of color.
In December last year, the main projects of Lidao Road and Lihua Road were completed, and public members and resident representatives gathered at the scene for the second time, and the project entered the second step: field evaluation. Huang Xiulan said that everyone has put forward many suggestions one after another.
After the end of the acceptance to the Spring Festival this year, Taishan Street further improved the humanities and infrastructure according to the summarized suggestions, and successively completed 1 cultural wall, 7 leisure seats, 2 parking lots, 267 parking spaces, 30 non-motorized parking spots, and 15 smoke extinguishers on both sides of the road.
"The environment has become better, the facilities are perfect, our residents are in a more comfortable mood, and they like to go out and take a walk and a walk." Huang Xiulan said that the resident representatives have received a notice that they will go to the scene for the third time in the near future to participate in the third step of the beautiful project: on-site acceptance.
"Small streets and alleys" are connected to "big people's livelihood". Nowadays, the newly renovated streets and alleys of Lidao Road and Lihua Road are being presented to the public with a new attitude, allowing the people to harvest a lot of tangible "happiness around them".
