The new museum fills the gap of the national museum of intangible cultural heritage

After nearly three years of construction, on the second day after the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games, the China Arts and Crafts Art Museum and the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum opened their doors. The museum is located on the north extension of the central axis of Beijing, the west side is close to the Olympic Forest Park, adjacent to a number of large-scale national venues, the project construction area of 91,126 square meters, a total of six floors above the ground.

The completion of the new museum fills the gap of the national museum of arts and crafts and intangible cultural heritage in the mainland, marking another important cultural landmark in the mainland that represents the cultural image of the country and the capital and highlights the prosperity and development of culture in the new era.

"Almost synchronously with the completion and acceptance of the project construction, we are non-stop, relying on the strong academic strength and rich collection resources of the China Academy of Arts, and simultaneously promoting the exhibition demonstration, design and installation of the 'Chinese Treasures - Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage and Arts and Crafts Exhibition'." Jadeite "Four National Treasures" made a heavy appearance

"Treasures of China" opened the exhibition, divided into eight sections, covering arts and crafts, guqin, traditional musical instruments, traditional art, opera, gold stone seal carving and extension, traditional New Year paintings, opera performances and academic reports of eight parts, a total of 1298 treasures were exhibited, 80% of which were exhibited for the first time to the public, most of which were treasured by the China Academy of Arts for 70 years.

Entering the exhibition hall of "Masterpieces of Great Powers", the joint appearance of jadeite "four national treasures" is the most eye-catching, they are the jade mountain "Dai Yue Wonders", jade flower lavender "Fragrant Jurui", jade tiliang flower basket "Qunfang Range Rover" and jade interstitial screen "Four Seas Tenghuan". The four jade national treasures, from the selection of the theme and the design of the form to the completion of the whole, lasted eight years, and were jointly created by more than 40 famous jade masters and skilled masters. Among them, "Qunfang Range Rover" is the largest floral work in the history of Chinese jade art.

In the "Ancient Relics" section, the audience can enjoy the treasures of the late Tang Dynasty "Dead Wood Dragon Yin" qin, the Song Dynasty "Ming Feng" qin and other treasures, and appreciate the guqin art that has spanned more than 3,000 years. The "Silk Road Danqing" section takes the audience to enjoy the "murals along the Silk Road" and see more than 70 copying masterpieces.

In addition, the audience can also feel the charm of opera art in the "Legend of Ink and Ink" section, taste the hundred works of 100 seal engravers with the aphorisms of the "Analects" in the "Instrument Transmission" section, and enjoy the colorful old age paintings from Tianjin Yangliuqing, Sichuan Mianzhu and other places in the "Shenzhou Yingchun" section. The exhibition also designed a wonderful interactive link, the audience can scan the two-dimensional code to watch, listen to the explanation of the exhibits, and there are also demonstration experience activities such as rubbing, calligraphy, and seal carving.

"Surprise blind box" became the hot word of the 2022 Beijing News Center

After the opening of the museum on February 5, the China Arts and Crafts Museum (China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum) ushered in a boom in reservations, with 3,000 reservation places sold out every day, and tickets have been reserved until a week later. Being able to get a reservation-free admission ticket to the new museum and listen to experts explain arts and crafts and intangible cultural heritage treasures has surprised many Chinese and foreign journalists. This is also one of the "Surprise Blind Box" series of activities planned by the Beijing News Center in 2022.

At the scene of the event, the 2022 Beijing News Center and the joint pavilion sent two waves of "blind box awards". In the first wave of lottery, the "Top Ten Questions" reporters collected in the "Surprise Blind Box" event were hired as special media observers and enjoyed reservation-free visits in the future. In the second wave of lottery, the lottery was held according to the name, and the museum presented a calligraphy work to each of the 10 lucky reporters.

"During the Winter Olympics, we will provide rich and thick cultural exchange activities.
