The bobsleigh originated in Switzerland and has been included in the competition since the first Winter Olympics in 1924. The average speed of the snowmobile is about 100 kilometers per hour, up to 160 kilometers, and the speedy high speed is the biggest attraction of the snowmobile.

At present, the most well-known snowmobile is the German famous German player Francesco Friedrich, who is known as the "king of snowmobiles". He and his teammates won gold medals in the men's doubles and men's quadruple events at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, and the trip to Beijing is aimed at defending the title. Pyeongchang Winter Olympics women's doubles champion Yamanka has been steadily recovering in form recently, and Laura Nault has maintained a high level of competition. In the competition for the newly added women's singles snowmobile event at the Beijing Winter Olympics, German athletes will not easily miss medals.

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Bobsleigh Event will be held at the National Bobsleigh Center in Yanqing, and will produce a total of four gold medals, namely men's double, women's single, women's double and quadruple snowmobile. The Chinese team won two seats in each of the four events, of which the women's single snowmobile and the women's double snowmobile were both participating for the first time. Huai Mingming/ Wang Xuan, Ying Qing / Du Jiani, two pairs of women's double snowmobile combinations have won many world championships, and they are looking forward to breaking through themselves and reaching the podium of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
