01

Hi Tiger Spring, are you rolling in the snow and ice, or are you dipping a hint of green in the sunshine?

Anyway, my rake-eared husband and I climbed the peak in the clouds and rain of Wushan Mountain. On the eighth day of the Chinese New Year, we climbed along the thousand-year-old Nanling Ancient Road until we reached Wangtianping.

This is the Wushan Goddess Peak, the best viewing point.

The Song Dynasty poet Huang Tingjian, when he was degraded to Fuling, passed through the Wushan Nanling Ancient Road and wrote down the melancholy of "the spring water is vast, and the nanling is more broken";

Fuzhou Tongju Lu You also fanned the fire for the Nanling Ancient Road in the "Book of Entering Shu", calling it "one hundred and eight plates", which was really dangerous.

And my male girlfriend Peking University talent two dogs, is even more pushing this ancient road, and there will be unexpected surprises.

The second dog, who is accustomed to catching wind and shadows, I guess he is actually a geographer.

Once, he opened Google Maps, zoomed in on Wushan to the largest version, pointed to a mountain beam almost perpendicular to the skyline, solemnly and mysteriously, and told me and my rake-eared husband:

Open your eyes to the sky and see all four hundred years.

My rake-eared husband and I have always thought that he has drunk too much. Three years later, during the Spring Festival, we arrived at the lowest point of the mountain beam by chance.

It borders the Yangtze River, and the site is the Wushan Fertilizer Factory before the Three Gorges flood.

But what surprised me and my rake-eared husband even more was:

It is also the starting point of the Nanling Ancient Road.

No one thought that the adventure of the Spring Festival in the Year of the Tiger would begin. My rake-eared husband and I stepped on the stone ladder that You and Huang Tingjian had once stepped on, step by step, and climbed to the highest point to look at the sky.

The old man who accompanied him was one:

Tomb Keeper.

02

Goddess Avenue is the iconic external window of wushan, a small county town.

On the south bank of the Yangtze River opposite this avenue, a towering wangtianping stands. Some local people who have studied geography and metaphysics pay special attention to this strangely shaped mountain.

At a glance, the shape of the mountain is like a "witch" word.

At the entrance of the Little Three Gorges there is an ancient tomb of the Ming Dynasty, where its keepers lived for 400 years

△ Photographed on the Goddess Avenue in Wushan County

It is steep and standing, with many ridges straight and uplifting, all vertically down into the Yangtze River, which these geography enthusiasts call it:

Kowloon returns to the water.

Among them, the mountain beam with the straightest mountain and the most prominent uplift is nanling in the village at the junction of the Yangtze River. The flooded part is the starting point of the Nanling Ancient Road.

There is a Ming Dynasty tomb near the beginning of the ancient road, and its owner is:

Grandfather of the Ming Dynasty inspector Yushi Fu Zuoyu.

Peking University talents do not give me WeChat to visit the New Year, but give me to popularize historical knowledge.

Fu Zuoyu was a descendant of Fu Youde, the founding general of the Ming Dynasty, and fought with Zhu Yuanzhang. After Fu Youde's achievements, he lived in Kunming, and was later given death, almost killing the entire family.

The ancestral tomb of the Fu family is located in Fu Jia'ao in today's Sleeping Dog Mountain in Kunming.

In the midst of many fates, Fu Zuoyu's grandfather, as one of the branches of the Fu clan, fled to Wushan and lived under the Sacred Spring Peak.

Fu Zuoyu was born here, and after his grandfather's death, Fu's father met a high-ranking person and was buried at the beginning of the Nanling Ancient Road. Later, Fu Zuo's father took Fu Zuoyu and moved to Fumen again.

After Fu Zuoyu grew up, Guanyun Hengtong was a red man in front of the Kangxi Emperor, and an official to the Third Grade. The "Bamboo Leaf Stele", the treasure of the town hall now stored in the White Emperor City, was given by Kangxi himself.

△ Kangxi's poem "Dangerous Stone Bird Road"

After Fu Zuoxi's exhortation official returned to his hometown, he was buried next to the White Horse Temple in Fengjie. His eldest son, Chengdu Zhuangyuan, and the second son, were chosen by Yongzheng to pay tribute. Since then, the family has fallen into decline and has not set off the slightest wave, until today.

Asked why, the omniscient and omniscient talented second dog said:

The ancestral tomb of the Fu clan is the glorious fortune of its two generations.

When the lamp is burned, it will flourish; when the lamp is extinguished, it will decay.

My rake-eared husband and I searched around nanling, but we could never find this fu ancestral tomb.

Without the threesome of the two dogs, there are some tigers and tails, so they can only let the rake-eared husband go: throw stones to ask for directions.

03

No coincidence, no book.

My rake-eared husband and I found a small courtyard dam to park in the narrow Jiang'an Mountain Road. The owner of this old house is an old man.

He is in his 60s and is surnamed Fu.

The rake-eared husband, who is not good at words, can only push me, who has a big chest and no brains, onto the unfamiliar conversation table.

After knowing that we had come to explore the tomb of Fu's ancestors, the old man pondered for a few seconds, and then fixed his eyes on our two young faces.

I asked my rake-eared husband for a cigarette and handed it to him, and sincerely lit it for him.

As a result, he was shocked by four words:

For hundreds of years, our family has been the keeper of Fu's ancestral tomb.

The old man said that from the great tomb of Fu Zuoyu's grandfather, they had been waiting by this tomb for nearly four hundred years.

After Fu Zuoyi's grandfather died, it was the old man's ancestors who met him. Where Kowloon returns to the water, there will be a cave of good fortune.

After Fu Zuoyu's grandfather was buried here, their family from the end of the Ming Dynasty to the Republic of China, they ate the Fu family's Feng Lu, and also changed their surname to Fu, becoming the keeper of the Fu family's ancestral tomb.

But now, we can no longer see this Fu tomb. The old man told us:

After the water level of the Three Gorges was 175 meters, it was all submerged.

△ Fu's ancestral tomb has sunk underwater

But their family is still silently guarded here, from generation to generation, although no one pays a salary.

After letting the old man open the conversation box, he was out of control, claiming to be the ancestor of the Fu family, Liu Bowen, the founding father of the Ming Dynasty. Fu's ancestral tomb, the original site is the original Nanling Primary School. Once the stele stood tall and the cypress trees towered in the sky.

The stele of Fu's ancestral tomb is now hidden in the Wushan Museum. Next to the Fengjie White Horse Temple, Fu Zuoyu's tomb is now sunk under the water, and its stele is hidden in the White Emperor City Museum.

In Xuanmen Yunxue, there will always be many seemingly unrelated similarities, but they will always wander on the same path.

Because we couldn't see the grave, my rake-eared husband and I were somewhat disappointed.

But the old man who guarded the tomb was on his head, and he decided to take us up the Nanling Ancient Road and look at a few more ancient tombs.

04

Up the Nanling Ancient Road, less than a kilometer, is Willow Village.

On the publicity road sign, the Three Gorges characteristic water feature block similar to Wuzhen and Fenghuang Ancient City is being created here, which is said to reproduce the artistic conception of "YangLiu Qingjiang Level, Smelling the Song on the Lang River" in the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi's "Bamboo Branch Words".

But my rake-eared husband and I concluded with our only real estate experience:

Another rotten tail of business.

The old man who guarded the tomb told us that in 2013, there was a huge theft of ancient tomb relics here in Willow Village, and he took us to find this protected cemetery.

This is an ancient tomb from the Three Kingdoms period.

The owner of the tomb should be a high-ranking official and nobleman during the Three Kingdoms period, belonging to the Shu kingdom under Liu Bei. The funerary products are extremely rich, with hundreds of cultural relics such as stone carvings, gold objects, lions, rings, hydrangeas, and coins.

But they were all stolen.

After burning another cigarette, the old man who guarded the tomb mysteriously revealed a message to the rake-eared husband:

There is a special organization for tomb robbery in Chongqing, called the "Taihe Gang".

It is said that a group of people in Chongqing who are engaged in collecting and operating antiques have established an informal antique management industry chamber of commerce, commonly known as the "Taihe Gang".

In addition to engaging in the collection and operation of antiques, the gang also carried out underground smuggling of cultural relics, jewelry, and jade, as well as direct collusion with tomb robbers to form a complete assembly line of tomb robbery and theft, which is extremely famous in the former Xiachuandong area that now belongs to the Three Gorges Reservoir Area.

At present, the organization has nominally been arrested by the public security organs, and most of the cultural relics in the tomb have been recovered, most of which are now hidden in the Wushan Museum.

Continue along the riverbank along Liushu Village until you reach shaluoping and you will arrive at an ancient tomb of a Ming dynasty general.

The owner of the tomb was Kuang Mingding, a Ming Dynasty Zheng Sipin who left his post in 1644, when Zhang Xianzhong's peasant rebel army swept away Huxiang.

However, the tomb is obviously a new work, and the inscription shows that in 2006, the descendants of the Kuang clan raised funds to rebuild the tomb, and the archway-style triple eaves overhanged the top of the mountain with imitation wooden structure, which is very luxurious.

Although the boy rode the unicorn to run in reliefs, strange flowers and beasts, and dragon and phoenix patterns, he lost his due qi pulse.

05

The old man who guarded the tomb continued to lead us upwards, and we came to the Nanling Temple.

The Nanling Temple, hidden deep in the mountains, was built in the Ming Dynasty. The records on the stone tablets show that the incense at that time was extremely exuberant, and the Nanling Temple was converted into a school due to the changes in the world, and now it is a ruined and desolate.

In the geography and metaphysics of Wushan, there are three taguan towns that guard the blessings of the three lands on both sides of the Yangtze River, and they form a solid triangle:

Wenfeng Temple, Chaoyun Pavilion, Nanling Temple.

4) Chaoyun Pavilion at the commanding heights of the county seat

5) Goddess Avenue 6) Goddess Peak

Just about 100 meters to the left of the Nanling Temple, among the overgrown weeds, there is an ancient tomb from the Qianlong period, about 300 years ago.

The owner of the tomb is xu Sigong, trumpet Ziheng. It can be seen in the inscription that in 1725 AD, he was buried here, and now no one worships him.

△ Tomb of Xu Sigong

Under the Chaoyun Pavilion, the old man who guarded the tomb took us to see another Qing Dynasty tomb about 200 years ago.

The owner of the tomb is Zhang Wenbo, his original surname is Xiang, after becoming the righteous son adopted by the Zhang family, he inherited the ancestral business and business of the Zhang family and became a rich man with a reputation in Wushan. Later, the Copper Basin Pond of Wushan Mountain, which is now the middle section of Qiyun Street, looks up at the Chaoyun Pavilion Pagoda.

The tomb was erected in the third year of Daoguang, that is, in 1823 AD.

The Wenfeng Temple, which Qianlong ordered to be built, overlooks the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Daning River. Directly opposite the viewing tower, there is an ancient village: Jumping Stone.

There is an ancient tomb of husband and wife here, and the owner of the tomb is Wu Qizuo, the word Tianbai, and the wife tan. Her husband was buried in Qianlong for 53 years, 260 years ago.

The old man who guarded the tomb mysteriously said that like the previous tombs, they were all the ancestors of this tomb keeping family, and they were all large families on the rich side.

△ Wu's husband and wife tomb

In the middle and late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period, the Wu family can be described as a dominant party in Wushan, and the ten kilometers in all directions are the property of the Wu family, and the scale of this husband and wife tomb can also be seen.

But now, it stands quietly in the forest, not knowing why the descendants of the Wu family have no one come here to pay their respects, nor do they know whether their family wealth is now prosperous or declining.

06

Back at the home of the old man who guarded the tomb on the Nanling Ancient Road, he invited me and my rake-eared husband into the house.

The rake-eared husband quietly asked me:

Want to share with us the secret book of Xuanmen?

I glared, shut up is the right way.

The old man who guarded the tomb led us through the hall house, climbed up to another floor, and actually came to an exposed courtyard-style platform on the second floor: the Yangtze River and Wushan County were unobstructed, and the whirlpool formed by the Daning River was also in front of us.

Standing on this platform, two zhenhe pagodas stand in front of you. Behind him, there is the Nanling Temple, which is broken and broken, and the three-legged momentum has been destroyed.

The old man who guarded the tomb was a little lonely, was this his family, the last way back in four hundred years?
