According to foreign media MacRumors, developers found a new system "realityOS" that Apple is developing in the upload logs and open source code of the App Store.

Apple has been developing the "rOS" operating system since 2017 for the long-rumored AR/VR glasses.
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, rOS is based on iOS and includes Siri and gesture control. It has basic apps and app stores, as well as technology for accommodating virtual meeting rooms and 360-degree video.
Apple has established itself in the AR field with ARKit, and this product will also allow Apple to compete with Meta in the VR field.
According to a research report by Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and analyst Ross Young's predictions, Apple VR/AR glasses have three screens, including two micro OLED screens (supplied by Sony) and an AMOLED screen.

From the perspective of planning, Apple will release helmet-type products in 2022, eyewear products in 2025, and evolve into contact lens-type devices in 2040.
Apple's augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) headsets, which are expected to be released this year, will focus on the three major areas of gaming, media and communications. But it will not be a replacement for the Mac, iPhone or iPad for the time being, but more of an auxiliary tool.
