Tesla Chief Designer: Apple doesn't have anything "worth looking forward to."

Tesla chief designer Franz von Holzhausen recently commented on Apple's products and designs, lamenting that Apple did not offer something "worth looking forward to" and that Apple's devices were "just a continuation of the previous generation" and "a little improvement in the same thing."

In an interview with a podcast, the designer said: "The sad thing about Apple products right now is that there's nothing to look forward to. I think it's just doing a continuation, just a little bit of an improvement on the same thing. In terms of inspiration and innovation, it's hard for them to be motivated by what they're doing. He also mentioned that although he hated saying it, he wore the Apple Watch just for fitness, and other than that, he didn't really find any other purpose.

It is understood that the designer has been working at Tesla since 2008, responsible for designing Tesla Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model y, and unreleased Cybertron trucks.
