Contamination of raw materials at Yoshinori City and Kitakami Factory affected 3D NAND production capacity

Meanwhile, Western Digital commented on the production status of its joint venture flash manufacturing facility with Jiaoxia, saying that Western Digital's current assessment of the impact is that its flash availability has been reduced by at least 6.5 exabytes. The company is working closely with its joint venture partner, Kaoya, to implement the necessary measures to get the facility back to normal operating conditions as soon as possible.
