The Lantern Festival is bustling with activity, and the reed grass in the river beach sprouts. The river ice melts, the land softens, and the breath of spring grows darkly. Soon, the apricot blossoms and peach blossoms on the slope of the embankment opened one after another, dyeing a piece of red xia, tempting infinite imagination, and there were nectarine sisters and red apricot brothers in the garden to attract men and women to come to watch. The spring breeze by the river, with its warm, rough, and somewhat wild emotions, destroys the winter and awakens new life, and greatly grins out a world of young leaves.
When the wheat seedlings cover the ridges, spring grows up. Pieces of rape flowers, illusion of a golden dream. Since then, the green river beach has become a golden wave of wheat, the wheat has been cleaned and returned to the warehouse in the hard work of the farmers, and the soybean and corn have grown green seedlings on the ground, completing the transformation of spring and summer.
In those years, Maihou was the dry season of the Yellow River, and no matter how the water was, anyone dared to bathe in the river and cross the river. Sometimes the Yellow River stops flowing, and you can ride it through. After the completion of the Xiaolangdi water conservancy project, the water and sand were diverted to control the flow, and the Yellow River would never stop flowing. Tourists come here, mu river wind, look at the river water, look at the stone dam, ask about flood control knowledge, talk about the Yellow River in the past and present, there is always a sigh. Now there are many pontoon bridges, and the Yellow River Bridge has been built in the Dongming section and the Juancheng section, and a bridge flying frame is like a long rainbow, which facilitates transportation and adds to the scenery.
The most is the great embankment that winds for thousands of miles. The Yellow River is like a yellow dragon, the levee is like a dragon, and the two dragons accompany it, which has achieved the grandeur of the beach area. The bottom of the small wave was built, the levee was no longer raised, and the top of the embankment was paved with asphalt roads. Autumn is the most distinctive season of the Yellow River. In early autumn, soybeans, sorghum, corn, millet and other crops are jointed and pregnant, giving the river beach a layer of rural poetry. The cries of autumn birds, coming from near and far, form a charming symphony that is endless. In those years, farmers scattered in the river beach to harvest crops, and children burned beans and roasted sweet potatoes on the edge of the ground, raising a stream of green smoke, which added to the meaning of autumn harvest. In the evening, the farmers greeted the end of the work in the smoke curtain, which was a beautiful custom painting. The current implementation of mechanized harvesting is naturally a different picture.
In years of great flooding, the hard-working crops are about to be harvested, and the farmers look at the flood and have no choice. Some young men swim to the shallows to cut the spikes of the sorghum and snatch some grain from the water. The village in the river beach is even worse, the houses are flooded, things are washed away, and people have to temporarily avoid relatives' homes. When the water is large, the river is extended for several miles, and the river is wrapped in the collapsed roofs and grass stacks. At this time, the River Bureau and the cadres and masses along the Yellow Area went up to the embankment and waited in a strict line to ensure the safety of the embankment. In recent years, the water of the Yellow River has been properly regulated, and the flooding of crops has basically disappeared.
The river beach is empty and lonely in winter. Sometimes the river is frozen, and there are bold young men who walk across the river on the ice. When there was nothing to do, I turned around at the head of the dam and saw the Lishi River Beach, curled up in gray-brown, silent. In those years, peasant children went to the embankment to throw dry branches and went home to burn firewood, and now when coal is burned and gas is burned, the branches are no longer cast. When it snows, there is life in the river beach, and the snow is flying, with a strong wind, flying in the air, and laying a layer of silver on the ground.
