Walking into Mao Hongyu's paper-cutting studio, the reporter saw that she was explaining to the students the production process of Tuanhua and a variety of paper-cutting works with the theme of "tiger", of which Tuanhua's works won the first prize in the paper-cutting competition project of the first "Huajin Cup" vocational skills competition in Liulin, which can be won such an honor, inseparable from her own efforts and persistence, she has been integrating this traditional skill and solid basic skills into daily creation, so that traditional craftsmanship can have a new look in the new era.

Mao Hongyu learned from Liu Guilan, Gao Cuizhen and other provincial and municipal non-hereditary inheritors, she took the inheritance stick of paper-cutting from the master's hand, and on the basis of tradition, added printmaking elements to her original "Ten Views of Liulin Forest", combining the beauty of Liulin Yuxu Palace, Bell Tower Mountain, Nanshan Temple, twin pagoda temple and the characteristics of the times, so that various innovative elements and ancient paper-cutting art were integrated together, creating a different New Year atmosphere for the Year of the Tiger.
I grew up learning to draw also like art, school is also to choose the art design major, very accidental chance to meet paper-cutting, met Gao Cuizhen teacher, from their older generation of paper-cutting people, I learned to persevere, as a post-80s paper-cutting craftsman, I also hope to see, like all the elements, into my paper-cutting creation. 】
