Pumpkin Babao rice preparation
- After the glutinous rice is washed, pour in water, soak for 3 hours and remove, put in boiling water and cook for 3 minutes, then remove, drain and set aside.
- Cut the pumpkin from 1/4 or 1/3, dig out the urn, fill the bottom with 1/3 thickness of glutinous rice, and compact it with a spoon. Pour in a portion of the glutinous rice, compact along the pumpkin wall, fill the middle with bean paste, and smooth it out. Finally, add the remaining glutinous rice, compact, and use the dried fruits and nuts you like on top to pose your favorite pattern.
- Cover the pumpkin lid, put on a steamer and steam for 40 minutes on medium heat.
