How to achieve "silky slippery", Li Jiulin, head of the National Speed Skating Hall Smart Stadium Construction and Application Key Technology Research and Demonstration Application Project, introduced that the team focused on the "fastest ice" and green low-carbon goals, supported by key research and development plans, innovated the carbon dioxide transcritical direct cold ice system, which not only reduced the energy-saving and environmental protection GWP value (global warming potential) from nearly 4000 to 1 at the beginning, but also controlled the ice temperature.
In addition, the team compared with the BIM model through laser scanning to test and ensure that the 120,000 meters of stainless steel ice pipes under the ice rink were in a precise position to ensure that the ice temperature was uniform. In order to ensure the flatness of the ice plate concrete, the laser measurement technology is used to make the flatness deviation of the 12,000-square-meter ice rink from the original acceptance standard of 5 mm to a maximum of no more than 3 mm.
Li Jiulin said that the team controls a series of factors such as wind speed and humidity, including fine regulation of the indoor environment of the digital twin venue, all of which contribute to the athletes to create the best results and create the "fastest ice".
