To make room, the Trailblazers will cut Cody Zeller, who just completed surgery on his right knee at the end of January

According to Blazers reporter Jason Quick, the team will cut Cody Zeller to make room for the newly traded players.

Zeller has been injured in the Blazers this season and has only played 27 games for the Blazers, and has not played since a right knee injury after the Jan. 11 game against the Nets.

Zeller completed surgery on his right knee on January 26, with plans to reassess his recovery in 6-8 weeks.

This season, Zeller is averaging 5.2 points and 4.6 boards per game and shooting 56.7 percent from the field.
